TV Wonder Pro video cut out

I have a TV Wonder Pro Remote Control Edition that I bought back in early 2005. It's installed in our HP Pavilion a230n. It has an AMD Athlon 2800+, 512 RAM with 64MB allocated to the nVidia GeForce4 MX integrated GPU. I use it to record from my original Xbox through S-video or composite.

Basically, after about 5 minutes of having the "TV" window open so I can record, the video feed will freeze. The audio still comes through but the picture is frozen. If I restart my computer it works again for another five minutes or so. I tried installing the updated drivers and software but it only got worse. I had numerous failures during installation and when it finished, it would "fail to initialize" or something like that.

I don't know all that much about Windows, I've used a Mac for the past two years. I only use the old PC for recording video. I updated the GPU driver but the problem persists. Is there some other way I can update the drivers for the TV Wonder? It really sucks having to restart my computer every five minutes. Any other ideas?
