PC crashes in games.

I bought alot of good games. The 2 games with crashes are Battlefield 2 and Freelancer. The crashes are: Battlefield 2: The PC gives me a black window after a game freeze in random gameplay. Then the computer restarts. Freelancer: The same but without freezing.

Specs:
Motherboard: ASUS V8 Deluxe
BIOS Version: 2.0.09 (If I remember correctly)
Videocard: ATI Radeon 9600XT 256 MB
RAM: 1024 MB RAM
Monitor: S/\MSUNG SyncMaster 930b Analog/Digital
Operating System: WinXP Service Pack 2

I've searched everywhere, nothing found.
Help much appreciated.

with regards to battlefield 2... i had the SAME videocard and had the same problems... it's normal for bf2.. get over it :P
Head to bftracker for some advice in those forums
dunno about freelancer though
