What Catalyst/MMC combos work with AIW x1900?

After having gotten tired of dealing with the various issues with the latest Catalyst & MMC versions on my AIW x1900, which until Catalyst 6.10 just came out was Catalyst 6.9/MMC 9.15, I've decided to try to roll back to a previous Catalyst/MMC combo.

I should also add that due to various problems I ended up reformatting and reinstalling XP Pro SP2, so I'm starting with a "fresh" system, which I imagine will make this easier.

After doing some research here it looks like Catalyst 6.2/MMC 9.06.1 appears to be my best best. E.g. I can turn TOD off, pause recordings, no sync problems, etc.

First, is this the best combo?

And second, will this even work on my AIW x1900, as I understand that it has a digital tuner that might not work with older versions of Catalyst or MMC. Is this true? If so, what are the earliest versions of each that I can use with this card, and what's the best combo for it?

    Thanks.

Ok, I was impatient to give it a go so I tried installing Catalyst 6.2, which went fine, and then MMC 9.08, which refused to install. This also happened when I played around with this combo before I reinstalled XP Pro, so I'm guessing that the AIW x1900 simply won't work with MMC 9.08.

So, I'm just going to install Catalyst 6.10 & MMC 9.15 and keep my fingers crossed. Unless someone suggests a better combo...
