I record movies via my Digital terminal hooked up to my computer, and record with the composite input (recorded at highest quality-DVD), and (R) (L) audio input to my ATI all in wonder card. The resultant file plays back fine using Windows Media Player. So now I want to edit it and put in chapters and burn to a DVD (DVD's are DVD +R). The program that I am using for autoring is Pinnacle Studio 9 with all the upgrades up to date. I then play the DVD in my dvd player hooked to my tv, and eventually the audio starts to lag. The video is great, even at 37% quality, so that it fits on the DVD, but the audio is a problem. Could my problem be the setting for audio compression? The choices that I have with studio 9 are: PCM, MPA(MPEG-1 Layer 2), Dolby digital 2 channel, Dolby digital 5.1. I have used PCM, and dolby digital 2 channel, no luck. Heavy sigh............, help please.
