Where's my recording???

So, I scheduled a recording with MMC TV app to record the Deadliest Catch on the Discovery Channel at 9:00pm and I even saw the TV app startup at 9:00pm for the recording. I have the Digital Video Recorder set to always record to my temporary drive and it should have saved it to my 2nd hard drive, which is X Drive in the ATI MMC folder but it's not there.

Can anyone give me a clue and point me to where it is on my computer if it didn't get saved to where I thought it would be?

Ok, so I tried testing it by scheduling some short recordings with specific filenames so I would be able to search for them with Window's search function and I can't find any of the recordings. WTF, is MMC not recording?

I'm using MMC 9.14.

Mkae sure you search for ALL files by date. It might be misnaming them.

I just figured that out. I realized that it was saving it by the record date. However, it seems the recording is gone. Oh well, I guess I have to catch Deadliest Catch next time it's on.

Wouldn't you know it. After messing around with recording this happens. You know what this means. Now I have to uninstall all ati software, dig out MMC CD for dvd decoder, reinstall all Ati software, reconfigure all Ati Software, and let's not forget all the rebooting that's required. Ati MMC is the most frustrating, time consuming, POS software on my PC. When is Ati gonna fix this [email protected]. I can't believe I relied on tech websites reviews of Ati's AIW line of cards. Had I known the problems I'd have to deal with I wouldn't have gotten this card. Please get the word out to the real world before more people get duped into buying an AIW, MMC SUCKS!!1 end rant
