    Help with AIW scheduler?

    I updated my MMC to 9.13 a while back. It saved my settings and also scheduled recordings. I recently went to change my TV recording schedules and despite my deleting the recorder event the TV still goes on and records at those times.

    Where can I look? What can I do to get rid of what seems like two instances of a MMC TV recording scheduler running?

    Man is this software terrible, thank god someone figured out how to disable TOD though

    I had the same problem and the only way I found to fix it was to do this:

    1) go to c:\windows\tasks and delete the files named ?.job and EPG_REC_???.job
    2) Open MMC TV then setup, then Schedule tab. The scheduled jobs should still be there.
    3) Now to recreate the windows events just click "OK".

      great, I did that, we'll have to wait and see if it works.

      another question, how come I get a yellow exclaimation next to programs that are scheduled around the same time but have different run DATES. Who the F writes the code for this software, retarded monkeys?

      God I'm so sick and tired of crappy ATI MMC software.

        There is a trouble ticket for this at ATI support:

        737-21592: Recordings scheduled with GUIDE Plus+ do not record

        The information in this article applies to the following configuration(s):

        * ATI Multimedia Center 9.13
        * Gemstar GUIDE Plus+

        Recordings scheduled from GUIDE Plus+ do not record.

        The schedule data is not properly passed to the ATI Multimedia Center from GUIDE Plus+ and scheduled recordings do not take place. If you have scheduled a recording with GUIDE Plus+ you will get an Invalid Argument error when accessing the schedule tab in the TV Player application.

        To workaround this, scheduled recordings can be done manually through the TV Player applications schedule tab or you can uninstall Multimedia Center 9.13 and use Multimedia Center 9.08.

        ATI Engineering has been advised of this issue and is investigating. Any updates will be published when they become available.

          Another option (other than ATI's suggestion to downgrade) would be to get a copy of BeyondTV - they have a 21 day demo. www.snapstream.com
