Um, ok, where does this thing save scr shots to??

You mean setup?? I'm looking through that and don't see anything. This is MMC 9.13, sorry. And I did a search for pictures made in the last 3 days and I found nothing... maybe the function isn't working?? I'm pressing the camera icon on my control bar... do I have to set it up beforehand somehow??

By default all screen captures are saved to the gallery. The gallery is temporay only.
When click on "Still Capture" the "Still Gallery" will be displayed with a small thumnail of the picture you just captured.
The button on the right most side is used to save the image to disk.

If you want to save the image to disk instead of the gallery you can do that as well. Just look at the "Still Gallery" tab in the setup menu.

Click on "Capture to file" and use the browse option to tell the program where to save your images. Now each time you press capture the image will be located in this directory.
