Guide Plus not downloading schedule

Has anyone been able to get Guide Plus to download the weeks schedule this past week. I have two pcs with an AIW card and neither will download the latest schedule.

The download acts like it is happening but ends with "no data is available check your system time or zipcode". Worked just fine last weel...

Maybe i forgot to pay my Guide plus bill?

Doesn't work for me today, either... it's been up and down for me for a few days... one day it works, one day it doesnt.

Same problem here as well. I have tried just about everything with no success. I removed version 1.0.0.45 and installed 1.0.0.53. I tried to reset and reload my channel listings and that's when things got weird. It seems that the 6 Lineup choices I get from GuidePlus+ are all wrong for my zip code. The old ones used A&E on channel 54 while the newer ones use OLN & KDTX but not FSSW.

I tried the ATI suggested fix where I reset my settings to use zip code 11111 and then tried using my real zip code. No dice. I even posted a problem report on the ATI site only to get a canned email saying that ATI no longer uses [email protected] but that's where the GuidePlus+ problem reporting tool is located (WTF?). The problem has to be on the GuidePlus+ server side but I have no idea how to notify them nor correct this problem.

Relax. I know its down and causing problems but lets be positive, mabey they're upgrading the system and it will be back better than ever. They'll have all new advertisments and have a more integrated system and no compatibility problems and...bla-bla-bla.... now I'm scaring myself . Ya' know...mabey just like ATI's MMC ?... But on the bright side ...they're not ATI with all the problems with...oh... drivers... MMC...etc.

Is anyone able to get the latest TV programming to download from Guide Plus? If so, what zip are you using?

I also can't get any updates for any zip codes that I enter. If it helps, I'm in the portland oregon area. Maybe this is localized?

I have tested random spots across the US and none work. Its safe to say that its all down. Just try to file a report if you can. I'm still waiting for an email reply from Gemstar with an explanation. As soon as I hear I will pass it along.

Hasn't been working in the 3 PC's we have AIW cards in here either. Hasn't worked for 3 days now. It "acts" like it's gonna work, but just downloads 0k of 0k all the time.

The Gemstar website is still up though.

I'm gonna file a report thorough the link provided above right now.

Just to throw my hat into the ring....I live Woodbridge, VA zip code 22191. Four days ago, GuidePlus would connect to the server but wouldn't download the new listings. Now it won't even connect to the server. Like tinylvis said, maybe they're just updating the server....I hope that's the case.
I've already filed a report through ATI about this.

It's working in Nothern California now. It took around 4 minutes versus the normal 20-30 seconds, but at least it's working again.

Update::
Changed my system date, and got the update list. Starts on Friday's here in the Oregon area. So if you try to download anytime before that, it wont update.
Wish Guide Plus would have an auto update feature...

I got it to work once this week, and haven't been able to get since. It just hangs when trying to connect to the server.

For the last few months, it seems to me they shut the server down on weekends. Weekdays seem fine.

Gemstar download...

Gemstar can be downloaded from one of the TV tuner driver sections. Try the driver section for TV Wonder™ Elite/Theater™ 550 PRO/650 PRO TV Tuner, and click on the Gemstar GuidePlus+ and PowerCinema link under optional software.

I too have run into many problems with the Gemstar not updating. It would, sometimes, only update on Saturday through Thursday. If I tried to update on Friday it would download the following weeks schedule and leave Friday blank. Many times Gemstar would throw an error that said there was no listing to download.

The frequency of Guide+ not working is quite high any more pretty constantly
it seems. And to think in a couple years none of this stuff will even work probably.
