    Driver timeouts

Anyone experience driver timeouts? Hasnt happened to me while gaming but watching videos on the web browser would seem to trigger it at some point.
For me it started after I installed one of the previous drivers (Im sorry, I forget which one) but hasnt been resolved in any way since (ive probably installed maybe 2 or 3 new drivers since it started happening). Its somewhat worse now since once my screen goes blank it doesnt want to go back until my PC goes into sleep mode which kind of resets it (it used to be i just had to wait a few seconds before the screen came back).

Seems to be a common issue thats been plaguing people and no one seems to know how to fix it or have a workaround to stop it from happening.

Oh im currently using Adrenalin 22.11.1

    Have you messed with TDRDelay?

Changing it from the default 2 seconds to 10 seconds works wonders for gpus experiencing this type of shenanigans

    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers

Right click in the white space in the GraphicsDrivers folder and add a new DWORD and name it TdrDelay and for the value put a lower case a the TdrDelay should look like the screenshot don't worry aboot the other options.

If you don't wanna mess around here is a reg file you can double click that will automatically add the requisite value then all you have to do is restart your computer.

I got it to stop but i don't know if that was the one thing that did it.
cuz I also turned off hardware acceleration in my web browser.

So one of them did it lol.

Hardware acceleration in browsers is likely an issue related to something called "Multi-Plane Overlays" or MPO. Both AMD and nVidia are having issues with that. The current best fix is that if your having issues, and not everyone does, then you disable the hardware acceleration like you did.
