I mean, at least you can justify the high-end price since it's the fastest on the market. Paying $379 for a card performance you could have had over a year ago for $399? Doesn't make sense.

You cant justify ANY of the GPU prices. The same applies to high end and low end, it just looks worse on the low end because theres a certain price/performance ratio it should have met that the high end doesnt really need to meet.

I mean 2 grand for a high end GPU? WTF?
Even at its 1 grand price a couple years ago its still stupid and insane (i think that had more to do with lack of compeitition)

Also true. I got this for like 9 or 10% above MSRP with a nice cooler(it's very quiet, even under fullload). In todays market, that is not half bad at all.

. Personally I've generally tried not to even date people who don't do some form of gaming. It was always just awkward if they didn't game.

true. But I'm not overly concerned about RTing. Most of the implementations currently aren't worth it anyway. Some RT also runs at playable frame rates and those that don't and are worth enabling RT for extra visuals... I'm ok not being able to use yet. I didn't buy a high-end card so I don't expect high-end capability

Well you could. In my area that card is selling for *checks* ok no 56's even for sale. 64's are going for 900+ CDN. I bet if you listed it for 500 you would get offers faster than you think.

Kinda scary to see this as about 30% faster than my vega 64... 5700xt was a smidgen faster than the vega 64 and this is a smidgen faster than the 5700 xt.

But I just cant see myself getting a 128 bit bus card for that kind of money. I can see where this makes sense as an upgrade for some people tho.

I know its overpriced but so is everything in the GPU space now.

I would have loved to go 6700 or faster but holy hell I am NOT dropping over a thousand beans on a GPU.....The 500+ that im looking at for this is still a hard pill to swallow.
No point going used as RDNA is overpriced.....I could get a used RX 580 for a more reasonable price but....i dont really want to upgrade to newer old tech.

Dont need or give a crap about 4k and RT.
And when i do, thats when i'll get new parts
