Tesla to be using Radeon for Infotainment console

    Unconfirmed, but pretty much confirmed

I thought it was weird the leather guy at Nvidia was posting strange Tesla car flex stuff on twitter as of late. Would be funny he was trying to simp for Tesla but they give the contract to AMD instead.

Team RED and Tesla are a perfect combo given Autopilot's propensity for crashing into big red firetrucks.

It wasn't meant to. It's to do with Tesla's touch screens failing. If Tesla can't do the basics more infotainment isn't going to help.

The fault lies with Tesla, though, as they filled the chip to capacity, logged a lot (many writes), and expected long lifetime. Everyone knows eMMC should not be used to capacity and be subject to many writes, just like SSD's, NVME, and USB sticks (all same technology).

Wouldn't be the first time Tesla got caught cutting corners.

                            Bit harsh but very funny.
