Theres no way you'll get just 40% above a 6900xt with 3 times the shaders.
One guy said theres a reason they called the 6000's navi2x it was 2x navi 1 and navi3x is thus 3x navi 2.
That shader count seems to make sense tho I suspect its gonna be used to improve RT so it might be 3x RT and maybe not quite that in raster. Maybe due to mem bottleneck. Hard to see a 256 bit bus feed 3x the shaders in raster at 2.5 to 3ghz.
On paper it would appear that is the case but we all know how on paper never translates to real world.
Besides the rumor is the 7600 is 3x the 6900....a little hard to believe a midrange part will utterly destroy the last generations highest end part.....
Much more believable if it was 7900 is 3x the 6900.

Ya the 3x part is the 7900xt at a rumored 3x the shaders. They say the 7600 will match it or beat the 6900xt slightly with the same amount of shaders but on a 128 bit bus its hard to believe... maybe the IF cache will be quite a bit higher but still.

The only thing i am concerned is the power consumption.

I am a bit jealous. Please post pics of the F150 after you buy it.
i got a down payment on it
but they are going to be harder to get than a bakers dozen of 3080 ti strix's all at once
it maybe a year before i see it
but i would love to get rid of my monthly gasoline bill of about 900+ bucks
plus the solar will get rid of a 200+ monthly electric bills and charge the truck

Come and join me in the BEV revolution. I own an MG 5 Station Wagon and it's awesome. Best car I've owned just love driving it. Had it nearly a year it's great. Their is no going back to petrol/diesel. Not enough sun for solar where I live so have to use mains.

Youd need a **** ton of solar to charge a car... Unless they can subsidize a large solar installation Id just stick with main.
looking at 20 to 24 kW Micro Inverter Solar systems for the house right now to start https://sunwatts.com/20kw-solar-kit-...icro-inverter/
Phoenix has close to 7 full solar hours a day
20 KW * 7 hours is 140 KWh a day
i peek at about 70 KWh a day usage now
and can get another 8 KW on the workshop shed after i rebuild it if needed
i think it will charge it they say the ford lightning extended range costs 18 bucks to do a full charge in 8 hours over night
ENPHASE has some new Micro-Inverter's coming out next month that can handle higher wattage panels
higher wattage panals means less panels on the roof

Nice setup but its not cheap. I have a bud in Cali who had a long term finance plan for his 30 kw IIRC home setup so it didnt cost him anything out of pocket and his savings covered the financing.
Even up north they can be worth it if subsidized. The panel efficiency is getting better all the time.

i don't see the need for gaming at 4k for 32GB GDDR6
and it will be two more generations after the 7000's before 8k is ready for gaming without SLI/CFX
the 7950 with 16GB GDDR6 will be a lot cheaper i think
7970 XT maybe a pro card or prosumer at that price AMD has done that a lot in the past

For ETH was supposed to be last year but havent heard anything since. Theres also a slew of other coins that do proof of work... tho kinda hope they dont have anywhere near the popularity of ETH.

The Merge and The Aftermath It’s June 2022 and Ethereum has moved to proof of stake. What happened to all of the miners who were using GPUs to mine Ethereum? Well, since mining rigs are purpose-built, meaning they’re better for mining one specific coin, the GPUs went back into the hands of gamers while crypto miners dove head first into the ASIC market.
A significant rise in demand for ASIC mining equipment once Ethereum officially transitions to PoS is not hard to imagine, and that demand is likely to outpace the available supply – a supply which has already been affected by global supply chain disruptions due to Covid-19.
The last 18 months have been very profitable for ETH miners in particular. Many of them began their mining journeys with their personal gaming computers, and have since significantly expanded their mining arsenals by building dedicated GPU mining rigs and farms. This was their first foray into full-time crypto mining, so what now? Well, there’s a slim chance they’ll be willing to give that up, and it’s very likely they’ll keep mining simply because they know mining works. It was these 18 months that helped people see the profit potential, and further turned those who were just exploring their curiosity into hardcore miners.
In light of The Merge, it won’t come as a surprise when these miners sell their used GPUs (gamers rejoice) and start buying ASICs, transitioning to Bitcoin mining. If you’re following our line of logic, an increase in demand and a decrease in supply will cause ASIC prices to jump, making it increasingly difficult to obtain a miner.
