lol, that mod looks great!! So refreshing from all the other mods that are out there now trying to simulate military combat (not that there's anything wrong with that). And only 6.5MB! Did you try it yet?

btw: it looks and works GREAT with truform level 7
even when software emulated on my R100

still getting 70 fps or something

other games look kinda corny and distorted with truform level 7 and runs pretty slow

not much variaty in the game, but fun none the less
only found ONE server, 5 players (including me) two were inactive
problem is that both of them were in the opposing team
            lol

runing out of webspace here, so the pic is obviously cropped
              7x TRUFORM vs. no TRUFORM

7x TRUFORM, 128x Anisotropy Filtering, 2xFSAA, 32 bit Z-buffer, 32 bit textures, Level Of Detail: 8, SubPixel Precision: 4 and Anti Aliased Lines running at 1152*864-32bpp @ 40-80 fps depending on what's happening
(other than that I'm using 512*512 textures, dynamic lightning, 4096 decals, himodels, goruardshaded models, traceglow, keep polygon junctions, shadows and everything else quality related that I can maxx out in the HL engine)

YES, I do love my Radeon
can't wait for a 8500 so I could up the FSAA to 3-4x Quality and get some hardware TRUFORM

using these settings make mods like DoD2 look as good as most modern games

from what I can tell by looking through most nvidia tweakers, nvidias cards doesn't have the same ability to force such high quality(?)

It needs some work before it hits prime-time. It needs the HL netcode most notably, and some actual servers to play on would be nice. Not to mention better maps. It should also try and make it feel like you're a 1-wheeled robot too. It should lean when you turn and rock back or forward when you accelerate or stop, for example. The way it is now feels more like you're driving a tank or something.

Pretty fun though, and damn good looking
