    Hogwarts Legacy

Hm, no talk about this one at all or is the search function acting up

    [yt]fbh3OAw3VVQ[/yt]

This could be a good one, if they don't mess it up, of course. Multi platform release is always a hit 'n miss.

Hope it's good! When I was a kid I always wanted to play such a HP game, not sure if it still applies now but will likely give it a go.

                Mangler was obviously being sarcastic.

This game is probably going to be very successful seeing as there exists a very large HP fanbase who never got treated with a really high production quality game in this universe.

Back when the first few movies came out, 3D videogames were still in their "low poly" stage, so the game devs back then couldn't create the kind of characters/environments worthy of a blockbuster franchise.

Now the sky's the limit so HP fans must be really looking forward to the final product, and even non HP fans will be curious to see how this turns out.

...we need a little more time to deliver the best possible game experience.

All these delays to 2023 have become a real joke, lol

The first half of 2023 is just way too stacked, and it keeps piling on as the year progresses. At this point a lot of games are going to be negatively impacted due to an overcrowded release schedule. I really wish all these developers would get their **** together. Very few have legit excuses anymore.

Against my better judgement I preordered the deluxe edition for a little under $60 from Greenmangaming. Got Steam keys instantly for the game and the preorder bonus. The deluxe version also grants 72 hours early access on Feb 7th. Unfortunately there will be no preload for PC, and release time is 1PM EST on Steam.

Feedback from people playing it early has been pretty positive, so we'll see how it goes.

well, it's mostly open world, quests are scattered all around. Some small "riddles" here and there, loot lying around, random mobs to smack, some crafting. If the story can hold up to stuff like Horizon, i dunno yet. But it's looking great (most of the time). Not exactly breathtaking, but good enough. I also think they did the right thing with changing it from multiplayer to single player, the spell system alone would've been a nightmare in multiplayer.

seems a lot bigger than I was expecting, which is a good thing. runs pretty well with medium RTGI (other settings all Ultra), on a 2080 Ti at 1440P (relatively - we're talking 70 fps here, but not too stuttery). Also, has item transmog out of the gate, which is always a good thing. as a Cyberpunk fan, i hate hats and this game is no exception. gaining added stats with non of the stupid look, big plus.
