Froze some hunter ass and dick punched a Leviathan and hit Chapter 7. 5 or so hours in. Game is decent and I am running out of ammo. Also never have enough credits to upgrade everything.

jezus christ wtf is wrong with you people. "not enough ammo" , you suck bro. No offense but are you trying to speedrun this thing so you can complain that "it's only x hours" ?
Took me 19 hours to finish , and i had PLENTY of ammo and upgraded 3 guns and my suit to the absolute fullest.

Oh that’s a good tip. I had forgotten about too many guns yes. All of them are in my inventory because unlike the first game I am actually using all of them this time.
Also the micro stutter is definitely there. I will see if that is due to me using DLDSR 4K or just there all the time. I wasn’t that sensitive to it but last night playing for 2 hours straight it was pretty apparent. Might be because the game doesn’t have loading levels?
Game is an OK challenge on medium just like the original. I also thought that in the original Hunter didn’t die in chapter 5.

I'm also using supersampling (4800x2000 or something like that) , playing around 75 fps but here it's really smooth. I don't think it's the DSR
Things that cause annoying **** for me are 1) Resisable bar in BIOS and some 'hardware accelerated' setting in windows.

Finished it. 8/10. Took about 8 hours and some change. I skipped a few side missions as they were boring like do autopsy. I don't care and hate revisiting places so just went to the end.
Decent remake. But was it required? Not really. The RE remakes are required since those games be old and some idiotic mechanics (like can't move and shoot). However, this one was completely unnecessary.
For 15 bucks was OK.

It's a great game if you love spooky atmosphere, and the graphics are fantastic, but honestly I'm glad I only paid $14.99 for it. Since I played the original trilogy just a few years ago, there wasn't much new or fresh about the remake other than the cosmetic improvements. I didn't experience any micro-stutters, but my 4090 is only running a 3440x1440 monitor, so I was able to dial up all the settings to max and enjoy the show. It was a fun 10+hour diversion but not really worth the $60 retail asking price, IMO.“The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.” – Abraham Lincoln
