I dig the aesthetics and will give it a chance, but not sure it's a day one purchase. Watching some of the powers, it seems Arkane just wants to make the same games over and over with slight variations. Hopefully this one is varied enough to not feel like Dishonored 1960's edition.

Isn't this the game where one players tries to complete some objectives while the other one tries to stop them?

A 2nd person can play as the Juliana, the Sniper assassin to stop the main character from completing his objectives. That's the PVP part.
I've never played Dishonored or any other Arkane Lyon game, so for me, this is a fairly fresh take. I really like the art style. I'll wait for release and some reviews to see if I make the purchase.

In Deathloop, players will live a day over and over as they uncover the mysteries of Black Reef, the esoteric island run by hedonistic partiers.

Not my sort of game. I'll replay a game if it's good. I won't replay a game until it's good, and this looks like the latter. Also don't want to play a stealth game where another player is out there trying to kill you. Will definitely be waiting for a demo or a heavy discount before even thinking about this.

Im not too much a fan of arkane.. wasnt too big into dishonored. I cant already see some of the powers of those games creeping into this one. But this one looks different enough to give it a go.

Watched 2 10/10 reviews and still don’t understand why it is 10/10. I hate replaying sections of games (basically Metroid/rogue) so definitely doesn’t seem exciting for me. Also 8 targets is less than Hitman 6 chapter games. Also don’t like the art style as well.
Maybe a 5 dolla pickup or game pass it since most Aspyr games do come to game pass.
Seems like a niche game that will probably flop.

That game had a fantastic method of preventing the annoyance of "replying sections", as there is an NPC whom you can instruct at the start of each 'loop' to cover the ground for activities you've already done)[Proc: Ryzen 9 7900x][GPU: MSI RTX3060Ti 8GB][Mem: 64GB G.Skill RipJaws 6000-DDR5][Mobo: MSI Pro X670-P][HD: Samsung 2TB NVMe 980 Pro][PSU: EVGA SuperNova 850W G2][Audio: Yamaha RX-V673 7.2/JBL 7.2 Surround]

Friend got it, confirmed what other people writing in reviews. Seems like there's really bad microstuttering due to denuvo and whatever else. Console versions aren't exhibiting such problems, ugh ****ing DRM."In the year 2004, ATi fans marveled in their own magnificence as ATi gave birth to catalyst A.I . it already got patched, i dunno what problem some people still seem to have. Only minor prob i encountered was microstuttering which also went away with recent drivers.
