Warner Bros might be close to revealing a new Batman game, as well as a Suicide Squad game. We know that the company will be showing off games at the DC Fandome digital event on August 22, and a handful of newly-registered domains discovered by ResetEra user DriftingOrbit point toward a game called "Gotham Knights" and a game based on Suicide Squad.

Agreed, they were absolutely amazing. They never got stale, and the combat was great. The joker and his constant quips were the star of the show in every appearance.

Lowest hanging fruit. Its the single easiest way to pad progress and game content. Especially with "added" content like new guns or skins to unlock are now tied to paid dlcs.

I’m a huge fan of the Arkham games. I feel sad Batman is not in this.

However, I’ll bet my left testicle that he will make an appearance, probably at the end, Congratulating the team on how they were tested and succeeded blah blah a long those lines, signaling a sequel title.

I loved every one of these games to bits.

I hated all the car puzzles. I stopped playing it because of them. The other two I finished an enjoyed.

Yeah, the Batmobile halfway ruined the last one for me. It wasn't just the puzzle stuff. The Riddler races made no sense whatsoever and the tank battles were downright obnoxious. And if we learned anything from AO and AK, it's that you don't buy these day one, at least not on PC. On release, AO had a progress stopping bug that made the game unfinishable until it was patched and AK was in such miserable shape they actually pulled it from Steam for repairs. The new one has my interest, but there's no way I'm getting it day one.

Batmobile wasnt that bad but it was clearly shoveled in cause someone in charge had an idea they wouldnt let go. The map wasnt big and open enough for the batmobile IMO.

Yeah if anything this gameplay demo left me thoroughly unimpressed and considering avoiding this round.

The combat looks entirely the same, except somehow worse. Nightwing just floats across the battlefield (look at that first fight sequence at how he "acrobatically" slides sideways from one guy to the next). It feels like weightless, not punchy, no impact, gimmicky combat. And now we have magic traversal like the spirit bounce that Red Hood does and Nightwing just flies around now on a glider?

I was hoping they'd lean a little bit more towards making combat feel more solid, punchy, and less gimmicky but this feels like they're just moving everything the wrong way. I can't wait to see how much the "cosmetic upgrades" cost in the microtransaction store.
