Lol, in Farcry 5, I enjoyed the open world shenanigans such as taking territory and helicopter bear hunting, but I loath every frame of the main story so much that I resented that you have to hold down a button instead of just press it to skip dialogue!

Hasn't every game since FC3 done that? Primal had witch doctor spirit world. FC3 had drug trips. FC4 had elephant crap I can't remember? FC5 had clouds of drugs you walk through. It almost seems staple of the series.

I remember trying Uplay back in the day, and it was such a mess that I don't think I would ever consider using one of their systems again. I'd rather play FarCry on an xbox than deal with their ****y apps again.

Uconnect just works, same with origin, the only wonky client in 2021 is the xbox for Windows launcher, as it uses the windows store for downloads.

For me only issue with XBX GP games are that you can’t do anything once you have downloaded the game. Also you lose saves sometimes when you redownload. So agree with Mang man that wonky client is only XBX. However, I do think they are putting a bunch of effort in fixing crap and the GP pays for itself. This winter it will pay 5X alone the cost of having it with Infinite, Forza, AOE 4 etc hitting GP.

I was able to preload through ubi+. Been playing for the past hour. If farcry is your thing, this game is tight! Definitely grab hd texture pack.
