They’re selling it full price in the US, but a few dollars less than you. I think ports ought to be cheaper too. It really is absurd.

    Yeah it's $95 in Australia which = $65 USD

Forspoken is worse at $115 = $80 USD

These prices are pretty absurd. Returnal imo should be more like $40 USD since it's a port not a new game. And Forspoken should be Returnal's price.

I was thinking of getting Returnal but not at that price. Will wait for a sale or gamepass or lottery win. Got other stuff to play in Feb

I think co-op was added to the ps version after I beat the game, but…..what the heck man….$95? That’s just ridiculous. What region are you?

I think (hope) it should still work. My memory of the game is that the gameplay was solid but even at the time it was the story and character that made it special. I haven't played anything since that worked those two elements into a game so well, so that should still hold up.

I will be ok to play this with a trainer or god mode on PC. Story was ok-ish and it has 5 biomes which with a trainer should be a good 10 hour playthrough…

Rogue-lite elements are a huge turn off for many people.

And the fact that it got a reputation of being difficult probably did not help.

Well yeah ND are miles ahead of CD in terms of talent, and not just artistic/visual design. TR 2013 basically tried to copy uncharted's combat because uncharted basically took tomb raider and made it better. So kinda a neat circle thing. I thought the TR 2013 combat was okay but still not as good as the best from uncharted.

I'm guessing a lot of it is down to whether or not they have the time and money to spend, and whether the technical base of what they have is easily ported. I'm guessing the newer the game, and the less "Japanese" the programming is (catered specifically to its console platform), the easier it is to port to PC.

Plus, as we're seeing more and more often, sometimes a port is just a way to train people on the PC side of tech. Better to use a low profile release to practice, than to have an outside studio make a botch job of a mobile game ported to several different platforms (yes I'm still salty about the GTA trilogy why do you ask ).

I can’t help wonder what the reasoning is. BB would make a killing on PC. They have to know that, you would think anyway.

Some sources say “At least a year later” and others say after one year. Meh.

Bring Bloodborne to PC and show me you’re serious Sony.

Yep Sony themselves verified the PC version at a couple events earlier this year, but the release date I don't think is set in stone.

Yeah unless you really want the steam refund system, I always buy on CDkeys.

40 euro vs 60, no brainer.

I never played Uncharted or really paid any attention to it, but it came with the 5900X I just upgraded to. I noticed it was a Naughty Dog game, I played the Last of Us Part II, which was also Naughty Dog. Utterly awesome. If Uncharted is anything close to as good as The Last of Us, this is huge win.

But like others have mentioned, pricing is key. Too expensive, no one will buy.

IMO PC Gamers won't pay $60 bucks for this type/genre of game no matter how amazing it is. Sony got too accustomed to charging 60/70 bucks for everything under the sun, which will fly with their console base but not the PC market. $30 would probably be the sweet spot for a title like this.
Agree...there are now just too many free/subsidized games in the PC market. Especially for games like this.

Sackboy isn't a popular game, period, I'd say and a PC release isn't going to suddenly change that. Especially since there's no LittleBigPlanet heritage on PC.

Funnily enough, on Metacritic the user reviews for Uncharted 4 are a factor 100 more than the user reviews for Sackboy, and now the Steam numbers appear to differ by a factor 100 too. I hope Sony expected this result, otherwise that feels like a dumb mistake on their part.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is now available on Steam (link), and has been getting positive reviews for both it's single player and co-op gameplay.

"Its level designs are adorable and creative, really shining in co-op but still entertaining when played alone. Its platforming can occasionally frustrate, falling short of the precision and nuance needed to really make it stand out from other games like it, but the feel-good vibe that permeates every corner of its crafted world still makes it a joy to play."
