Beta pre install is online and 85 gigs yea pretty massive... theres 2 beta weekends so not too shabby... R290 is one notch above minimum recommended but rest of pc way above... will be interesting to see if I need to buy a new gpu for this.
i read that as 2090 and was thinking, holy ****!
Never put off tomorrow what you can put off today!
I have a Vega 64 that is flaking out right now and prices just keep on getting higher up here... so while I wait I pulled out the ancient R290 and its working fine. Tho not fast by any means.
Installation went quickly heres hoping servers can handle the load tomorrow.

How many of you dummies are going to pre-order so you can play in the beta?
Well I preordered because I liked everything about the game - the desolate mood, the aesthetics, the open world, the pagan vibe, the integrated dodge, the locked progression, integrating the good parts of d3 like the punchy feel, etc etc. Had no problem paying them earlier for a steadier budget and maybe better game at launch, esp how you can spend few times more in for example PoE just for shiny things, like I did heh. Not to mention you spend so much in a grocery store nowadays that games all seem cheap tbh.
I can also play today, which while not that important, isn't bad either. Very good first impression btw, I find the game simply beautiful and nice to play atm. Ofc it's just another arpg, but in the end I treated D3 like an old school beat em up with stats, no big expectations there heh and I predict I can only be pleasantly suprised further into the game.
The only thing that worries me is that T2 is too easy atm, I play hc character and need to dodge here or there but haven't been in real danger yet. A routine I established for my short D3 burst was to make a new seasonal hc char, set dificulty to torment 1 and go for rifts, really fun though sometimes short lived heh and hope I can do sth similar in D4.

Everyone has a special talent. Mine is being able to write, produce direct, act, paint... Other people are good plumbers, that's their gift.
There are rebels and there are innovators. I'm a rebel. I play a rebel brain expert who's in rebelliance against conventional logic, who's in rebelliance against the world order. It's about rebelliance. And if that's not being an innovator, I don't know what is.
In times of conflict, when you're up against an agressor, be he human, be he inhuman, whoe'er he be, often he is both.
Greetings traveller. Who am I? Perhaps you have met me twixt sleep and and wake - in the penumbra of uncertainity you call unconsiousness... you know, my books are essentialy about "what ifs". In "Black Fang" I asked - what if a rat could drive a bus? And what if it and its rat brethren took over and ate Parliment?
A lot of people say "Garth Merenghi? Doesn't he write that horror crap?" Well, you're an idiot, because my books always say something, even if it's simple like "Don't geneticaly engineer crabs to be as big as man". There's always a message or a theme.

I'm enjoying the tiny bit I've played so far. But, I hate the map. And the little things like the Fallen chatter, enemy death audio, etc are missing. Portals don't sound like portals. WTF
I'm on Series X . Is HDR broken on PC as well. Looks like total ****.

Sorc dead by randomly spawned
Butcher, quite a hc counter heh
, with a good few legendaries on him. Rogue next.
Yes map is of a classic sort heh. It's also unbalanced, frenzy was so bad I starter new barb. Memory leaks too, or just server hard to say. The base game is huge though, in every sense.
