As long as i can do a campaign and its not too much travel here, back here travel out to same location again, return, out, return, rinse, repeat then i'm good with buying it. Not a completionist myself so 500 could be 5000 for all I care. I just want to be able to finish the main storyline and not get get bored.

One of the newer videos I've watched seem to imply during a cutscene the shadows are aliased. Anyone else notice this? On a brighter note, the character models look good imo.

Releasing a broken game in February would be the dumbest decision anybody could ever make. Actually I wonder if there is a correlation between month released and bugginess? My gut feeling is that games released Oct/Nov would be more buggy but it's probably just random.

Watched more unedited gameplay, honestly it's looking kinda janky, and the gore system appears to be worse than the first game somehow, also a lot of clipping going on, human enemies stand there to be hit, walk off buildings, etc.

Also, they changed the art style quite a bit since the first trailer, and maybe not for the best. Night time in first game was cool due to how dark it was, here it's like the game is in day mode with a blue tint filter on at night...

According to the guy who got to play it for hours, nope. There is only one darkness setting and that's it.

Shame. Looking at the videos it seems like indoor areas are pretty dark and maybe that's why the outside night is lighter. Might get a "dark night" mod pretty quick though.

Interiors have very dark areas requiring a light to see. Not sure why they would keep outdoor areas brighter? Maybe the guys have their brightness set high to be able to see better at night?

Pretty sure it was exactly the same in the first dying light. In doors was way darker, because outside had ambient lighting. it also got darker or lighter depending on which night it was.

Looks like that other guy who played preview was wrong. (my friends playing final build). There are dark ass areas that are like the first game. Hope meter slowly going up.

Yea. My friend said that the combat doesn't feel as good as the first game, enemy hit just don't feel weighty. Also enemies dont seem to hit each other nor do bodies fall/stack on top of each other like they did in 1. I can already see the next crowbat video coming probably.

Looks like it is a good game but it might be worth waiting for a patch or two before playing it since it is also a buggy game.

But it looks like the pc version is the most polished one, as techland can just push out patches whenever they feel like it.
