Plus you can go back to a save point and dump out a lot of what you don't need before said battle, to your suitcase Last edited by mynakedrat2; Jan 31, 2017, 10:48 AM.my graphics card is now a physx card ;

I just finished it on normal, I should have played it on a harder difficulty, I ended up with huge amounts of ammo and chemicals and like 20 green herbs. I thought it was decent over all 7.5/10.. I just don't like the fact that you have limited inventory and you have 10 different weapons to choose from and you don't know whats coming around the corner.
I found myself gathering items and then running back to stash boxes frequently just in case I ever needed them. I killed mostly everything that I came across except in a couple spots where I didn't have a weapon.
I didn't find it that scary either, I was expecting it to be a bit more tense.
But it was a good game all in all.

More of them later? Why, that would be spoiling it for you.
You can combine items to make stronger ammo for the handgun and many other things.I have nothing witty to say.

Completed this today, took about 11 hours overall. Great game and a return to form for the RE franchise. Visuals, level design, atmosphere were all exceptional. The gameplay, while simplistic in nature, is exactly what was needed to bring the old school feel of the RE games into a modern era.
The actual world design, especially the indoor areas (95% of the game) are probably the game's highlight. Every single room felt handcrafted top to bottom, you could stop in any room of the game and marvel at the attention to detail of "everything", the models; the lighting; the atmosphere; the layout; the 'story' of the room being told - it's one of the those games where the amount of time the devs spent on the design of one room, is the same as another game's devs might spend on an entire level. For any gamers who like to stop and admire the little bits and pieces of the world he's playing in, this game would be a treat.
I could see a valid complaint being the length of the title, many players will finish this in about 8 hours - however the game is designed with multiple optional hidden areas/items, a plot choice midway, and different item locations depending on difficulty to encourage multiple playthroughs. One is enough for me though, PC gamers got this for 35 bucks so no complaints there. It would have been nice if there was another world area in the game (like a hospital or police station to bring back some of the RE nostalgia), but that may cause the game to drag on too much. Congrats capcom on bringing this franchise back on track.[Proc: Ryzen 9 7900x][GPU: MSI RTX3060Ti 8GB][Mem: 64GB G.Skill RipJaws 6000-DDR5][Mobo: MSI Pro X670-P][HD: Samsung 2TB NVMe 980 Pro][PSU: EVGA SuperNova 850W G2][Audio: Yamaha RX-V673 7.2/JBL 7.2 Surround]

The outdoor area at the start was really ugly though, thankfully the indoor areas look great.

I have chromatic aberration off and also increased render resolution. Depth of field makes a few situations blurry but I like the effect and it isn't abused so far (mainly scripted sequences)

My main thing was I had to lower my Texture Quality to Medium. Not high or very high. I have only 3GB video cards. Any higher quality and the game pauses to load the textures sometimes for almost what seems a minute.I have nothing witty to say.

I'm at the part where I see Mia and Zoe on a monitor after ending Lucas' 'test session'.
Do I still have a bit to play? Enjoying this a lot and hate to see it finish so soonNo question is dumb if you do not know the answer.Q: How can you move on in life if all you care about is pussy and videogames?A: You don't.

still liking it4.5 hrs in
Just killed Marguerite Baker, that was a fun fight and she was creepy as hell when she transformed. Jack Baker was a good fight too, closer and funny as hell when his legs went for a walkNot really sure what to make of Zoe yet
I have a lot of resources but I'm always short of Chem fluid.
I wish you could drop items, seems silly that you can't just place an item on the ground while you pick up and combine something else. I guess it usually isn't far to the nearest storage container and compared to other RE games (RE5) it's nowhere near as rigid.

Just started this game last night, gotta say atmosphere wise it is a very compelling game so far. I like how it's like "Resident Evil" but without the limitations of previous resident evil games as far as gameplay mechanics.
On a side note, I noticed there is some nasty "ghosting like" effect when you turn. It's not quite stuttering (though that also exists), the scene "ghosts" often when looking around, regardless of turn speed and regardless of framerate.
What effect is responsible for this so I can turn it off? Annoying as hell.
For reference I'm running the game at 4k resolution with all details max (FXAA + TXAA) and scaling set to 1.2, shadow cache off.
