picked it up too, for just about 10 usd in my region... it's cool, the combat is somewhat harder than I expected lol...
it's not an open world game though despite the open level design, don't expect rpg-esque side quests, the world is just rather passive and just there to give you a rather poor illusion of being crowded.I guess it's the trend nowdays with games; either you are a hardcore PC GAME, or you live long enough to see yourself become a console port

I picked it up, played only for a few minutes. Does it support gamepads? It's just weird with WASD and mouse for me.Intel Core i7-6700K | Cooler Master Hyper Evo | Asus Z170 Deluxe | nVidia GTX 1080 8GB | Corsair Vengeance 16GB | SoundBlaster Z | Samsung 500GB SSD + 4TB SSHD | Windows 10 Pro
On top of that, a huge backlog of Steam games.

The controls are a bit frustrating at times. The biggest issues are directional issues, where you veer off course and possibly off a stairway because the movement angles don't exactly line up with the map angles. The second is fiddling with the view keys while in combat, the 2D/3D nature leads to risky jumps and disorienting view changes. I would have preferred more granular control rather than hard set angles.
I could imagine some combo of left hand with a thumbstick and right hand on the mouse would be most optimal.

This is really stupid, I've started the game from "new game" several times and they cops shoot me every time on the opening sequence, wtf??
If I do a respawn after dying I get away easily, but if I try to start the game and try to play without ever dying it seems near impossible...
Anyone else seeing this, or is just me?

I played a lot of this last night using my Xbox 360 gamepad. It's not terrible, but I can see eventually some missions will likely be near impossible without KB+M. That's ok. I'll get my money's worth without fully completing it but I do enjoy the game design. I think they made some smart decisions on the gameplay.

Ive been playing a bit and Im a couple of missions away from completing all of the main missions. There are quite a few side missions to go but I have done all that are in the mission boxes so far so I am waiting for more to pop up.
The only thing that is frustrating is the navigating the camera angle in some areas. Sometimes the angle of the camera and the area your in dont play well.
They added some nice side missions that I didnt expect that are pretty cool.

oh well, I'm much further into the game now and enjoying it, it would be cool if it was a darker setting and had night and rain...

tried a mission called sudo shrimp, got the shrimp, then second wave, wtf... got slaughtered by several mech type units... respawned several times but still no real good idea how to finish the mission, way too many bullets flying at me... controls feel clunky when trying to avoid a ton of bullets while jumping and trying to aim...
