Woah there buddy back it up You got to remember GTAV came out 3 years ago and was originally built for last gen consoles. To compare a game built for current gen consoles to one built for the last gen consoles and released 3 years ago tells you something. JC3 looks great but it aint no GTAV.

Lowest I've seen it go was 37fps in heavy foliage areas on foot, otherwise between 45 and 60.

There's wreckage with cargo which is sometimes protected by sentries. There's also minerals to be found which in combination can be crafted into things like jump boosts so you can execute longer jumps than what your ship can do normally.



In populated space you've got bases on moons which you can dock on, accept missions, or attack them.

edit: gonna plug a couple more screenshots. Also, the textures aren't final according to the devs. Final release will have 'em.

This is on a planet with 3 times the gravity of Earth. Was pretty awesome driving around here and taking damage from the smallest fall.

So glad I picked up new ram and went with 32 instead of 16 which I assumed would be more than enough.

When working with this panorama where each individual shot is 15360x6480

Elite Dangerous seems like amazing for sight seeing and exploring. Might get it just for that really. Good stuff.

Even more is that I thought that was Dark Athena but when looking at the full size shots it looks like it's the original. Insane.
