I stayed there for quite some time. In Elite each object has its own sound if you point your ship's nose at it. Come to a complete stop and up the volume. Even looking at the arms of the galaxy from any area within has this low hum.

gamescom tomorrow; there is supposed to be a "colossal" announcement for the game. The only colossal thing that isn't in elite yet is planetary landing so many think/hope it's that. But I wouldn't get a boner just yet.
