Meh, I don't see how a Witcher movie can work. Maybe as a series like GoT but definitely not a movie.
Well witcher started off as a bunch of short stories, didn't become a series with in books till later. So I think it can work well as a movie.

What a wonderful story. It's the 1st game in a LONG time that has me wanting to come back to it eagerly. Makes we wonder if I should have played the first 2 or at least the 2nd Witcher. It's just finding time to do so but I read somewhere that the 2nd is kind of short??
Loving my new laptop too. Runs it pretty good.

yeah, as far as games go, the story is pretty mature. there's definitely plenty of adult oriented content, and it's not just nudity and gore.
I think story wise, witcher 1 is more similar to this than 2. 2 was very political while this is really a personal story again. i'd definitely suggest at least witcher 1 if you like this type of story.
Seriously impressed by the quality of Hearts of Stone so far. POIs are far more interesting, Bosses are well made and have nice mechanics, new enemies are tougher and actually require more than before to defeat!
It screams +1 quality over the vanilla game which was already brilliant! Still fairly early in the game I believe but defeated two bosses and went through some POIs.

Given my history of finishing games over the last decade or so, I think I'm just going to stick with playing the 3rd installment.

Been playing it since May on and off, and I'm still into it even with my video game ADHD. The story being very easy to follow and the quest recaps on the side really help you get back in real quick even after a week off. I just hit level 29, so I'll probably finish this shortly and may pick up the DLC.
Agreed ! Just finished DA:I and all its DLCs, and found myself thinking Keira's quest alone was more memorable than anything else I've played since Mass Effect when it first came out. So very much more professional and mature, the music itself with Keira...you can hear the underlying teasing theme, should be titled "Flirting with danger" or something. Sent chills down my spine. Knew immediately when that tune started and seing her that this, this will be dangerous

I miss seing Dawn on my Eizo T965 21" CRT with ATi 9700 PRO. RIP.
Yep, i'm not even done, but 150 hours in I can safely say, this is one of those games, that you just don't forget. everything, from audio and visuals, to writing, quest design, lore, gameplay, is just ahead of the genre standards up until it's release.
It sets the bar high, and seeing how little fallout 4 improves over the older bethesda titles, the bar is still too high for other devs it seems.
CDPR is definitely the undisputed action RPG king at this point in time.
I have been stuck working out of town for the better part of the last couple months and need to get around to completing the game at some point, especially now that Fallout 4 is out. This is the game of the year for me that's for sure.
Why? What ending did you get? cause the one i got left me satisfied.
I got the happy one. The sad one is awesome too tbh. Same goes for the neutral one. Though that wasn't my point. You feel empty because your journey ended and you won't have more "episodes" of Geralt's adventures

That's exactly how I felt after my first playthrough, and that's why I replayed Witcher 2.
NowI'm replaying Witcher 3 again. You can always replay with different choices. That's exactly what I'm doing now, and although it's the same game there's a new feeling to it. There's also plenty of quest branches that are different each time. Like the first time I played, Letho was dead. In my 2nd playthrough, he's alive and his questline is like a brand new DLC to me lol.
Trying to figure something out here, which sword is better? I know the Bits sword is better in DPS of course, but if I have 3 greater runestones in Daystar (for ex, all + 30 armor piercing) vs. 1 runestone +30 armor piercing in Bits, does the higher DPS of Bits still make it the superior blade (I guess it's got better crit as well).

Might have answered my own question after some research, I think the most important thing here may be the critical damage after all?
I just finished Heart of Stone and have nothing but praise for this game as well. There really is nothing like it. I've played it for 180 hours now and I am seriously bummed out that there isn't more content available today. If they could release a quality expansion like HOS every 4 months I would never need another video game again. But until then, there is nothing left to do but watch the sun go down with Geralt

buff the chance to cause burning on the first sword, and it becomes much better, because burning is the most OP DOT effect in the game.
I finally managed to complete the main story. I love how they show you how some of the decisions you made play out in the end. I look forward to playing the expansion now and working on the many side quests that still wait for me out in the world.
i ****ed up... I'm obliged to do the "it takes three to tango" quest? But i already know there's no good outcome in this quest? Is there a way aroud this quest? Also, where are my clothes when Dandelion frees me?
Demons run when a good man goes to war,Night will fall and drown in sun
When a good man goes to war, Friendship dies and true love lies, Night will fall and the dark will rise
When a good man goes to war, Demons run but count the cost , The battles won but the child is lost
Wait till you finish the game! Then you will feel empty...
Just finished it and you're right, I do feel a bit empty -- I got the ending where
you romance Triss and Ciri becomes a witcher, but Radovid is killing witches etc., I was expecting to wake up post-game to Triss's house or whatever, but I'm in a very depressing and empty Kaer Morhen! That made me feel way more empty than anything else
