Camera movement is definitely smooth now, not jerky like before. 21:9 cutscenes exe has been updated in the link I posted earlier.
Also the loading screens are smooth too.
Can you post the link to that fix again, please?

does it really say that or you are pulling my leg? didn't read all of it. Cause I would be starting a new game as i've been waiting for this patch anyways.
Jim Lahey: You know whats at work here? Its **** tectonics. When two **** plates strike and come together under incredible pressure, what happens Bubbs?

I've been living with choppy visuals during fighting because the game looks so nice and my PC isn't exactly top-of-the-line. Yesterday, I changed my FPS limiter from 60 to unlimited and the game is 300% smoother on the exact same settings as before. I believe it has something to do with my 144hz monitor. I have vsync off and there is no tearing and the game stays far more consistent. I am so happy because the game is excellent but the chop during battles was giving me a headache before Now I am a happy camper Try it if you have a monitor that supports > 60hz.
I think I got the worst possible ending but god dam I enjoyed the game. My favorite single player game to date.

Earned level 40 at literally the last 2 minutes of the game. 121 hours according to steam. If I had done everything? Well the only things I skipped over were some sunken treasures and some question marks in Skellige; those don't reward much XP so I doubt that it would have made a difference for the final level.
I also never ran into Letho, even through I distintly remember not killing him in W2.

I had no issues with that questline at all. What is the bug exactly?
If you detour at all, or explore more than just follow the quest markers. The quest can give an "update" notice. This causes the fight at the end of the quest to bug and give a black loading screen after the boss fight starts, where you can't do anything and have to wait for the boss to kill you or ctl alt tab the game. The only fix is to not get the bug. Which i didnt find out till way after.
Never put off tomorrow what you can put off today!
1.05 broke the console and I was about to start a new playthrough for screenshots

must have gotten really lucky then because I ran all over and got harassed for it. I also think I did that quest in bits. I did however stick with it after picking up the first other person.

It may also have something to do with the archer, so if you ran around before getting the archer, or just didnt even get him, than you may have just skipped the bug.

I've no idea what you're talking about as I didn't see the other endings apart from the one I got.
Ciri is dead, Geralt goes after the last crone and it seems like he just gave up and I'd say committed suicide

I got him but after getting him other then running around looking in buildings and what not I didn't really stray from the quest much. Don't know why you would run off and do other quests when you have someone following you.
It seems odd though that I got the worst one when I've been nothing but a generally good guy, minus sleeping with a lot of prostitutes...

Very Big Spoileroo Warning, don't read unless you really want to spoil things:
I mean it, I really mean it!
This WILL spoil your ending for you
The ending depends on a few things like whether you took Ciri to see the Emperor (and refused to take the coin or not - naturally if you refused, that's a good thing because it shows you cared for her and not the money), whether you told her to do a few things like trash the lab (Go for it was good), took her to see Skjall's grave and went with her (Dats a good thing!) and told her to see the sorceresses on her own instead of holding her hand.
In essence, the more you comforted her and nurtured her independence, the better the ending
:: We are all the sum of our tears.
:: Too little and the ground is not fertile and nothing can grow there.
:: Too much and best of us is washed away.

Also
Literally one choice changes which of the two goode endings you get...
Never put off tomorrow what you can put off today!
ughhh not sure I want to open that spoiler since I just started a second playthrough, but at the same time I don't want to get the same ending again.
tell me if I'm hot or cold on these:
-to have a happy ending with triss or yen I must choose one and NOT bang any prostitutes
-I shouldn't be overprotective with Ciri. I noticed that a lot of dialogue options with her can have her make up her own mind.
-Refusing coin on monster jobs when available?
-Not participating in the assassination of Radovid?

Do not be overprotective of Ciri - nurture her independence but go with her if she wants to go somewhere (like a certain grave), remember to comfort but not hold her hand, let her make her own decisions. There are some funny cut scenes if you let her do what she wants within reason
Turning Radovid into a filet changes the ending too, depending on some choices you make.
:: We are all the sum of our tears.
:: Too little and the ground is not fertile and nothing can grow there.
:: Too much and best of us is washed away.
Alright then. And since you said nothing about prostitutes and random women... all engines go!
I'll also try one difficulty higher which is death march.

There are 3 ways for the story to end for Ciri, 3 ways for Geralt and then some "minor endings" like what happens to Baron, Radovid, Emperor and the northern realms.
:: We are all the sum of our tears.
:: Too little and the ground is not fertile and nothing can grow there.

So, without spoilers, there are 3 major endings? And then I assume a few minor alterations on those endings?
They initially said 36 endings, which I suppose is not really true?
No idea if it adds up to 36 but it's probably based around the fact you have what happens to Geralt & Ciri and what happens to other people/the wider world. All of which alter depending on the actions you take during certain secondary quests.
Ok cool thanks, how much of the ending depends on earlier choices in the game? Or is it mostly the last mission(s)?
It's all over the game and how you interact with Ciri and people.
There Be Many Spoileroos here:
- Ciri has several points in her story where you can comfort and nurture her as an independent person -> the more you do it, the better the ending for her.
- For Geralt it really depends on what happens to Ciri and who you hump. Despite all the boobs and butt, the stance they took on this was a bit old fashioned If you want a good ending, choose one and don't try both ;-)
- For the rest of the people it depends how you deal with secondary missions (and some missions like the Assassin) and they are sprinkled all over the game
:: We are all the sum of our tears.
:: Too little and the ground is not fertile and nothing can grow there.
:: Too much and best of us is washed away.

It's all about the side quests here. If you want to be with triss do all her goode stuff and ignore yen's passes, or the opposite for yen's quest. As far as i can tell, only that matters, so **** EVERYTHING else

The thing about the 36 is there are 36 points in the game that have affects on outcomes for the ending. So technically there are thousands of endings. However there are only a few that matter to geralt and ciri, the rest just affect your overall ending. The same way the first game did.
Never put off tomorrow what you can put off today!

Re this second point
you can have sex with both, what you can't do is tell them both that you love them. It may be that sleeping with both means you can only end with Triss or the neither as you have to tell her you love her first.
