Looking at the DLC settings section of the launcher it only suggests I have some outfits.
There are 16 pieces of DLC that you should have.
Got to this link
You are Geralt of Rivia, mercenary monster slayer. Before you stands a war-torn, monster-infested continent you can explore at will. Your current contract? Tracking down Ciri — the Child of Prophecy, a living weapon that can alter the shape of the world.
Look at the DLC link and make sure it says "in library" for each of the free DLC. If it doesn't perhaps you have to click on it and click on download on the next page.Originally posted by David O. Witcher 2 is done.
Just passed the tutorial in W3, not really a fan with the controls, it'll take some getting use to now that I move straight from W2 to W3 but damn the game looks good even at 1080p. I has everything maxed out with grass tweaks bumped up a notch from the tweak guide, but not excessively, where vegetation is lost. Chromatic Aberration off, Vignette off. My 1080 is championing just nice with it all maxed out. Game looks good.
I'm tossing up between sharpening at low or high but I can't decide. I might bump it to DSR 1440. The 1080 still manages to handle it all.

If I change the grass and foliage range in the user settings file to be say, something higher... should I expect the grass density and foliage range options in the ingame menu to set themselves to Low?
I assume this is the games way of handling a value which is not attributed to a setting ingame so it just defaults to Low ?
The values in the file remain as the tweaked values.Last edited by Megaman; May 12, 2017, 05:30 AM.

I aim to knock off each and every side quest in this so I'm happy to turn them off and make it more interesting but only if it will allow me to come back to them at any point, including after completion. I can simply switch it back on after spending some time running around before completion. IF so, I'll turn it off.
I see myself spending double the time now.. Not sure if I shouldor be

Are you suggesting some locations are tied in with like... DLC? And prematurely discovered locations will break immersion, story etc?Last edited by Megaman; May 14, 2017, 10:04 PM.

I'm very pleased with the 1080 though. Maxed out at DSR 1440...
Other than that, just pay attention to the random things peasants say, as a lot of the world changing through your actions comes from gossip and bit of lore scattered around the world.
Oh and as kac said, hunt down the witcher armour if you are near it, the full sets are pretty cool, but keep in mind that while they will be better than half the other items in the game, they are not the best gear and you only need them for the cool factor, so there is no rush to get them early.Never put off tomorrow what you can put off today!

You can re-spec the character very easily later (and can do unlimited times afaik) - do not worry about min-maxing at all. Go with whatever skills you think sound cool and want to try.
I would recommend playing on the hardest difficulty. It gives a meaning to stocking up on food/health items. On e.g. normal, you can just meditate after each battle to regain full HP - so how well you do in a fight/encounter has no real consequence. And honestly on normal the game is too easy for gear/spells/oils etc to even matter...
For graphics maybe try a reshade if you are into that.

I think that Witcher 2 skills had more of an impact than those in Witcher 3, which seem marginal most of the time. So i really didnt care what i unlocked in Witcher 3 all that much.[Good Old Games]- No DRM or Copy Protection

This satire post made me laugh so much...
The Witcher 3 is a garbage skeleton game that's basically liberal progressive propaganda.
I was playing the game, and at first I was happy because it had a naked lady's butt as the first scene so I thought it was sticking it to teh skeletons, but then the facade began to evaparote and the game's true face came out.
The game has a pro-gay quest in it where you help a gay hunter.
EVERY FEMALE CHARACTER IN THE GAME IS BEAUTIFUL AND CAPABLE, while most of the male characters are ugly idiotic morons.
The whole Novigrad chapter is basically 'MUH REFUGEES, WAAAH, RACISM IS BAD! WAAH!' There's even a cutscene where Geralt talks about how society hates and scapegoats its weakest members when times are tough. Wow, anti-Trump propaganda much?
I also recently read that CDPR's next game is based on a book written by a black American man (way to diversity hire, cucks) rather than a BASED POLISH LEGEND. They're also going to let you play as a female character, which is historially incorrect because most law enforcement and soldiers are men so they're basically killing the immersion.
Honestly, I'm upset at myself that I almost enjoyed this game. Sometimes I wish I wasn't redpilled, but it's my curse and it's one that I must bear.
If any of what I've said has resonated with you, I encourage all gamers and non-skeletons to come to us at r/kotakuinaction. We deal with the most important issues facing gamers and are the front-line in the battle against skeletons. If you're a conservative white male who's tired of facing constant persecution and hatred, we're a place where you can come and talk about vidya without being judged.
Btw, MAGA. haha, triggered much skeletons?

I formatted my PC, reinstalled this and for some reason I'm now getting annoying stutter when panning the mouse camera. This is with Hardware cursor enabled or disabled.
How do I fix this?
EDIT: Eh.... NVM. Seems it doesn't like DPI ratings of 2000 and more. Lame.Last edited by Megaman; Oct 20, 2017, 10:35 PM.
