I wish B&W was as polished as the main game is now. I noticed it felt far more buggy than the main game.

The last boss was definitely more challenging than most other enemies in the game, and fairly unique. But isn't that what most people want out of a final boss?
What kind of Geralt build are we talking about here, and what level are you? You should be around level 34 or so. I don't remember seeing anything about it that would make it overly difficult for particular builds.

What can I say! Just finished Blood & Wine (good ending) and concluded Geralt's adventure! It is like parting with a friend who has been around for so long and saying good bye, never to see him again but knowing he is gonna be alright...
If I was told that no more games are being made, I will be content because I have played the very best there is. Knowing that I won't experience Geralt's journey; his voice, gestures, dialogue, interactions...etc does leave some emptiness in me that I will get over in a day. Yet still, what fictional character can do such a thing to a person?
The game itself is a masterpiece. The worst parts of it are far good and the greatest parts of it are just beyond any other game. It is a collective effort from every front that delivers such an experience that other games fail to deliver, or any other media for that matter. Maybe it is the setting, the theme, the music, the visuals, the story or more... whatever it is, I will always hold this experience as one of my greatest gaming experiences...
Truly a masterpiece that anyone looking to experience a deep and mature adventure, should play.
That fourth wall break at the end, followed by a visit from a loved one! Just an epic conclusion!*Sending A Dream Into the Universe*

Just to try something different, I played the expansion with a controller. If you suck at camera control using controller, like I do, rolling can be very disorienting. Otherwise the game is fine using a controller. Allows you to play in a more relaxed sitting position and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Ofcourse they can go prequel mode, which is very interesting in that aspect. Or have him as a guest character in another game or fiction.*Sending A Dream Into the Universe*

I wish the game supported TXAA as I really think TXAA would really suit artistic direction of this game. Using DSR @ 5K, the game looks stunning though.*Sending A Dream Into the Universe*

I dont know, i love the presentation, visuals, etc. but somehow game isnt keeping my interest. I find there is no real challenge to it. You got the quest compass, the witcher sense so all quests come down to following either one of these.
I found Witcher 1 and 2 more engaging somehow. Unless im missing something.[Good Old Games]- No DRM or Copy Protection

With that being said, I'd like to add that... in theory, you want an even multiple (aka, integer scaling), either DSR 2x or DSR 4x. (4x is the best as it's 2x width + 2x height)
4x DSR on a 1080p display is 4K, so that looks great. 4x DSR on a 1440p display is 5K (5120x2880) which also looks great. If you're running these even multiples, it's my understanding that DSR smoothness at 0% is theoretically an optimal value.
The smoothness setting uses a Gaussian filter to help offset the downsides to uneven SSAA, which is simply not desired on an even multiple such as 2x and 4x, especially 4x.
The effect of this also vary from person to person and the kind of LCD/LED panel utilized, some monitors have better sharpening than others in regard to image quality, so this affect entirely the end result of DSR+Smoothness percentage.
For Witcher 3, sharp textures, vegetation etc.. 25% smoothness (rather than theoretically optimal 0%) with DSR 4x looks good to me.
You should try different smoothness values and see what you like best.Last edited by PowerK; Sep 11, 2016, 08:07 PM.

I stumbled across this trailer by accident, how in the world did I miss it?

And this was published last year, but that is clearly Orianna from the Blood and Wine expansion. So this is how she ends? ** mind blown **
