I got Crysis 3 from Origin sale for 3€ and I just finished the singleplayer campaign.
I just can't understand what the **** was CryTek thinking. The plot makes absolutely no sense and the game is very boring because of corridorish repetitive maps and lack of enemy variety, plot makes no sense, characters are horrible, plot makes no sense, can't disable film grain filter, boss fights are bad etc.
Awful plot and dialogue made my brain hurt really bad. I cringed every time Prophet said the words "Alpha Ceph". I mean, who the **** comes up with that horrible name for the big bad enemy? Seriously, that sounds more like artist name for gay porn star.
Game had couple a good maps like the Dam map but overall it was a borefest. Stupid plot, bad characters and corridor maps made sure of that.
Wonder if anyone notices a difference in playing this game with displayport vs DVI dual link as far as graphics. It looks better with DVI dual to me, as if it seems more vivid or has more contrast than on displayport. Don't know if that's just in my head because some may say there's no difference. And don't know if it was brought up earlier, you can't search a thread that I know of.

I still think Crysis 1 + Warhead is the best version of Crysis, due to its larger areas giving more freedom of how to approach each situation. Though I may feel differently after finishing 2 and 3.
agreed. crysis 1 was the best as far as freedom goes and warhead was a bit more linear but the pacing benefited from that. 3 is the next on my list of favorites which I found better then 2. but I would call any crysis game bad. the suit alone is for e worth it
Same here, I like them all but 1 and WH are the best followed by 3.
Well after seeing all the maps it seems to me this has the best graphics I've seen from a technical standpoint. Maybe others look better from an artistic/design viewpoint but it's still right up there with them. And I got a new system (listed below) to appreciate the visuals. No longer have to live with the old Pentium 4 & Radeon 4650 I had prior to last month.
On a side note, had the new one built with OS installed by an indep shop in San Diego for $1,850 usd. I probably could've built it myself to save money but the shops I've been to build pretty dependable systems and I'm kind of lazy.
