It is a 10 hour game on highest difficulty setting.
Fired up Warhead last night btw (41 hrs and still going) and is it me or it looks totally washed out after Crysis 2?
Pretty damn amazing if you ask me.
Is there a similar jump from Crysis 2 to 3?No question is dumb if you do not know the answer.Q: How can you move on in life if all you care about is pussy and videogames?A: You don't.

good, then I'm clean.
after Crysis 2, airfield level in Warhead last night looked like South Park.
I was happy to let Oblivion go after Skyrim, same will have to be for Crysis and Warhead.

so yeah,indeed.
I guess it's the trend nowdays with games; either you are a hardcore PC GAME, or you live long enough to see yourself become a console port

I've since completely upgraded my system and have a different problem:
How do you recover your EA/Origin games after a New Windows Install? I've read a few things and have copied over several folders and files to a separate HDD. I've also simply installed Windows onto a newly formatted disk and still have my previous Windows OS disk intact.
Have any of you gone through this recovery?
With all the problems EA is having with SimCity, I'm not sure if this was a good time to do an upgrade. (I'm glad I did finish Crysis 3 first, though!)
FTR, I've had no trouble at all getting my Steam games and account back up and active. I for one think the graphics are incredible, next gen is already here! When you start on the first level with all the rain effects its absolutely stunning! Good job on Crytek for putting out a game with such gorgeous graphics.
Those people who argue "story is everything" need to just go back to the 90s and early 2000s and see how fun playing pixelated graphics are. As fun as System Shock 2 was back in the day, i can't go back to it due to the graphics. My fav game is BF3 MP and there's no story on MP, so its really a moot point to me. Immersion and graphics are a big part of a game for me. Now, when a game gets story and stunning graphics right, then it just becomes epic.
as for replay value, i've never replayed any of the single player games i've bought (Mass effect, Hitman, etc), it doesn't make it a bad game. I simply don't have the time to replay a whole game unless there's new content through a patch or DLC.(ie witcher 2 enhanced edition added a lot of stuff and made me go through it again, also the story forks made me go through it again to replay different parts and see the outcome, otherwise i never replay games).Last edited by poohbear; Mar 22, 2013, 01:01 AM.4790k @ 4.6GHZ | Noctua NH-D14 | 16GB (2x8gb) Crucial Ballistex @ CL9 | Asrock Z97 OC Formula | Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 |

I follow this ideology and my backlog is only about 3 games at the moment.

The game actually got better, there are a mixed of Crysis Warhead style gameplay by adding vehicles and some of the music and weapons are from Crysis, which is nice. I agree the graphics in this game is amazingOriginally posted by jimjobobIf 3 fans left the station at 10:30am cooling at a temp of 63c and one fan was derailed by a stray sata cable on the track, how long would it take all 3 fans to get on Seyiji's last nerve?

It's funny they seem to integrate old Crysis gameplay in this game, this cave reminds me of the weightless cave in Crysis. gays, I'm finally pumping this GPU-frying bitch. so much stuff happening on screen it almost hurts!
I'm playing at 1920x1080, high settings (very high seems like a no-no on my 6950 Crossfire setup).
The first two or three enemies I shoot result in the game noticeably pausing for a good second. Kinda lame and immersion braking. Is this a known flaw, should I lower some setting in particular? AA doesn't seem to make any difference at all. Please tell me I don't have to play on mediumNo question is dumb if you do not know the answer.Q: How can you move on in life if all you care about is pussy and videogames?A: You don't.

Alright, started this now. Graphics are phenomenal tbh and I played all Crysis games. Corridor shooter it is but I don't always see that as bad. The bow seems OP, will see how fairs as you go. This thing though chews my CPU. I can't gain much FPS if I move from Very High to High. I am sporting a 670. I can see my CPU load on all four cores being at close to 100% most of the time.
Any special tweaks would be nice. Using SMAA x2.*Sending A Dream Into the Universe*

No graphical tips, but yes the bow remains OP, the game is very fun, and for the love of all that is holy play it on the hardest difficulty to make it last. I made the mistake of not doing that, dont be that guy.

The MyCrysis forums are pretty depressing. There is apparently a bug in red star rising where if you quit the game and come back it will crash unless you disable sound. No word on a patch. No word on a patch for MP either and it's basically close to dead on all platforms. It died faster than Crysis 2 although that is not really a surprise given it's similar to Crysis 2 and people went through enough BS with that game.
Pretty much seals the deal for Crytek going Free to Play, C'est la vie

Hi all,
I just finished playing the single player campaign and it left me wanting more. The graphics in this game are amazing and the plot was decent enough, but I can't help but feel that it finished too early.
I don't want to get into multi player, so are there any other game modes in SP such as custom battles or custom maps where you can just duke it out with AI opponents or something like that?
