Just finished the game. Game was short but very good IMO. I thought the graphics were nice as well and it answered some more questions. Will probably run through it again.

Question about the patch. I'm assuming you get it automagically through Origin, but the version on the main game menu still says 1.0.0.2, not 1.1. When I "check for update" from Origin, it says my game is up to date. What is this sorcery?

Actually, TriDef has released an update. Although, it doesn't include Crysis 3.

Even so, I've played the single player campaign now in 3D by manually adding the game and using the Crysis 2 Profile from the list of games in the TriDef supported list. It even supports 3D in DX 11.

I've never heard any reports of Steam's ToS saying it's allowed to scan your entire computer, take any information it wants, combine it with personal information about you, and use it for itself and to sell to third parties for product placement research and advertisement purposes. If you have, please cite your sources.

I can understand I may be a bit extreme about this, I tend to be that way about things. I know its just a digital distribution software for games. But I like to know I can stand behind and feel confident about what I am using and supporting. I just still don't feel that way about EA's Origin at this time. I will still play EA games on Steam or DRM free of course.

Unlike Origin, it will not scan your computer to see what else you have on it, and in turn sell it to third parties for marketing research.
