Seems like you need to turn off hpet if you want the tool to actually do anything.
This program is used mostly in conjunction with disabling HPET in your bios to reduce microstuttering in SLI/Crossfire. It was by luck that I noticed it had this much of an effect in Crysis 3. It is not typical behavior and most games will not benefit from it. If you were to turn down your graphics settings where your GPU and CPU were both below 85% usage, for example, then this could help you in Crysis 3.

Hrmm I'll give it a shot I guess, would be great if this tool worked in ArmA2 & 3.CROSSHAIR X670E HERO / R9 7950X3D / RTX 4090 GAMING OC / TRIDENT Z5 NEO RGB 6000 CL30 / SAMSUNG 980pro 1TB / 2x SAMSUNG 980 1TB / H150i ELITE LCD / ATH-A2000Z / HX1200 / AW3821DW 38" / LG C2 OLED evo 55" / Enthoo 719 / K70 MKII + Zowie S2 / K57 + Harpoon / Xbox Series X Controller / REVERB G2 V2

Nope still nothing, and my timer resolution is different to his.
His says 10.001 ms by default, mine is 0.97 ms by default. So when he changes to the max setting he's seeing a dramatic difference from 10.001, where as 0.97 isn't far off the max setting to begin with.
Not sure what's going on there, maybe he's tweaked the crap out of his system and screwed some shiit up without knowing it..CROSSHAIR X670E HERO / R9 7950X3D / RTX 4090 GAMING OC / TRIDENT Z5 NEO RGB 6000 CL30 / SAMSUNG 980pro 1TB / 2x SAMSUNG 980 1TB / H150i ELITE LCD / ATH-A2000Z / HX1200 / AW3821DW 38" / LG C2 OLED evo 55" / Enthoo 719 / K70 MKII + Zowie S2 / K57 + Harpoon / Xbox Series X Controller / REVERB G2 V2

What I dont get though is if he's CPU limited at 70fps, how come I get north of 150fps if I turn my graphics right down with a similar power CPU.CROSSHAIR X670E HERO / R9 7950X3D / RTX 4090 GAMING OC / TRIDENT Z5 NEO RGB 6000 CL30 / SAMSUNG 980pro 1TB / 2x SAMSUNG 980 1TB / H150i ELITE LCD / ATH-A2000Z / HX1200 / AW3821DW 38" / LG C2 OLED evo 55" / Enthoo 719 / K70 MKII + Zowie S2 / K57 + Harpoon / Xbox Series X Controller / REVERB G2 V2

My GTX670 can't maintain 60fps at 1080p, but it can do a solid 30, so I just in game limit to 45fps and then set vsync to adaptive half refresh, which locks in a true 30fps, unlike the in game limiter which doesn't. Important on my setup as I use my Samsung hdtv which will then take the 30fps and interpolate to 240fps.

I guess it's the trend nowdays with games; either you are a hardcore PC GAME, or you live long enough to see yourself become a console port

Though yes, when I play a console game, interpolation can add more lag to what's already there, to the point of being annoying.

Been playing this all day. Love the game so far. Been running it on High textures, High advanced, 'cept shadows and shading on Medium and 2xSMAA. Looks and plays well.
I even went as far as overclocking my GPU for this one. Now have it stable at 900MHz core, 2200MHz Memory @ 1.1V. Quite happy with the 12.5% overclock and I can tell it's a bit smoother in this. I may push for 950MHz @1.15V tomorrow and see how it affects this game...PC Gaming, Technology, My Life.

Some things about it are pissing me off. There are some clipping issues when trying to shoot through guard rails and stairs and things with gaps, arrows, bullets don't always shoot through the gaps and result in me dying. My arrows also often get stuck in thin branches or leaves.Last edited by eNforcer; Feb 25, 2013, 09:38 PM.

Some of the multiplayer levels look incredible, and they run excellent on high. I guess shouldn't be a surprise given they are typically smaller than single player levels. Financial District =
Mp is ok, very similar to C2 obviously. It's a lot faster now sprint and mantle cost no energy, no reason not to sprint around really. You'll only need to slow down to shoot somebody which makes you an easy target. Quite a few cloak / bow users but don't think they are overpowered yet. Net code doesn't seem great, but adequate. Not really a fan of the overpowered weapon stuff. swarmer is ridiculous, alien weapons are all very powerful.

Played again this morning, the graphics still make me go wow on each level, especially the more I see. I definitely prefer the story in this one to that of C2, but as of yet still not better than C1 and Warhead.
I upped my overclock (GPU) to 950MHz @ 1.125V stable (1.1V was unstable, jumped straight to 1.125, maybe should've tried 1.113V first?). I may push to 1GHz tonight, and see if I can slap on 4xSMAA, as I've gained a fair few frames so far... Seems smoother overall!
EDIT: For anyone who may be interested: I checked the temperatures over a two hour straight session of Crysis 3 and it never goes above 67 degress C. Am I right in thinking I have nothing to worry about with my overclock? Don't GPU's cut off at about 100 degrees C?Last edited by Warpedkevin; Feb 26, 2013, 03:45 AM.PC Gaming, Technology, My Life.

Man this game is beautiful. On my GTX670/2500k @ 4.7ghz, It is more than playable at 1920x1080 very high with 2x SMAA. Tried 2x TXAA last night and it looks amazing, the smoothing/blur effect really brings something to the table with C3 but does bring it down to just barely smooth.
Overclocked my 670 to +110 Core and +116 Mem and it is playable with TXAA. No idea of framerate but I'd assume around 30fps, don't care about benches just whether I can play it or not.Life is like a hurricane here in Duckburg....
