It boggles my mind how people can think that having a game which can't run properly on 500$ video cards is a good thing.
That is NOT a sign of exceptional graphics, there are plenty of graphical powerhouses which run exceptionally well on mid-end hardware, ffs.
It should work properly, or otherwise it's a broken product. If you can't max it out on the best hardware available it means it's a turd, not a gem or whatever names people give it.

Well at least you have to agree that's its better then seeing the opposite as seen with most (console)games ( blurry textures covered in post effects and low geometry etc. .

I can't hardlyencourage devs enough to push GFX's to the boundaries. And you don't have to play in it maxx right away. When I load up Cryis1 with mods (AF+pom, high. res vegetation, shadermods etc) I still enjoy watching it. But I have to say I'm a GFX whore in all words.

How can A.I be bad now, in 2013? I still think the A.I in the original Halo is some of the best, and thats over 10 years old.

I don't know, but the AI seems decent, at least compared to other recent shooters, like Aliens.
At least it reacts in funny ways, and it has the decency to move around a bit.

Seems like high details at 1080p with 1x smaa/fxaa is the limit for the 570/80.

I just wanted to say that anyone who complains about graphics after this game is a farking moron and should just throw their PC in their rain and watch it spontaneously combust whilst shouting, I am Master Race and I deserve what I am getting right now...

Also then jump in a pool of mud and smear their eyes even more because they are already useless and then poke the eyes out of their heads with chopsticks to be fed to piranhas in deep sea...

If you are into SP, then just get a key from one of the cd key sites for 38 or something. Best bet on it and it will be cheap. If you liked MP beta then even getting it at full price is good value. Poor AI, no gameplay, no story, no game. It is the most lame game I`ve seen so far. Dull benchmark and nothing more. This studio will never get my money again ever.

Damn I'm itching to play this but don't have the dough to spare at the moment.... car ****ed up, freezer broke and the washing machine ****ed up all in the space of a week. If I did buy this considering that the other half would not be amused

Will get it next week hopefully, the videos and screenshots look gorgeous and 7 hours on hardest difficulty is good for me as I have hardly any spare time these days

I sense a "record year" in terms of the number of games I skip on day one and/or wait for sales on. 2013 just looks really bleak aside from perhaps Metro, BioShock, and a few Kickstarter games like Wasteland 2.

Crysis is a EA game. Origin and Uplay only. No Steam. EA pullled all of it's games from steam about a year ago to boost Origin.

There is a known bug with the ingame timer for SP. It's effectively how long you took to play it if you never reloaded the game. e.g. If I play a level for twenty minutes, die, then take twenty five minutes to complete it, the timer will say 25 mins, not 45 mins.

This might help some of you? It allows one to configure most of the graphic settings. Some are not tweakable in the current build of the game (indicated in the configurator). Under the graphic tweaking tab, most settings are tweakable.

The AI seems to be retarded on normal, and ok on the harder difficulties, so I guess it is the same as it was in Crysis 2.

It does feel like it is more aggressive now though, but I have not played c2 recently.

Game is crysis. It has a lot of detail in many places. It runs actually good on High like the original Crysis on a single card system. The AI is perfectly fine on harder difficulties. Yes it glitches, so did your mom last night.
