I feel like the only reason to buy a Titan gpu is you're buying two. Otherwise you're better off with something like 2x 7950s or 7970s which cost 2/3 of a titan and run laps around it.

need some comparisons to console version. fps is horrible in pc version from what ive read.

If the sp is anything like the mp beta, the pc version on low still looks better than the 360/ps3 version.

using a downsized pc screen to compare to a native res xbox 360 screen is retarded. not to mention using a cutscene where the entire image is mega blurred by DOF

Since Crysis 3 requires DX11 GPUs, and thus can't run on even the most high-end DX10 setup, even low settings better be superior to the console versions.

what are you talking about? even with your 1100$ worth of gpus u wont be playing with antialiasing levels that begin to even approach the level seen in the stream of downsized bullshots people are posting, nor the level of downsizing present in that screen you just posted for comparison

thats one of the worst and most blatantly incorrect interviews ive ever read. crysis 3 is not a next gen game and that point will be proven soon enough. virtually no one was running crysis 2 at 200 fps...what a joke.

Pre-ordered it 2 weeks ago. Downloaded it 3 days ago, but could not play it until this morning. Played for 10 minutes and got my feelings hurt. My new 7970 struggles @ 1920x1200 maxed out

OMG! I've had to back down the setttings a bit to get good, playable frame rates. Reminds me when Crysis originally came out. Not sure if it's due to my "aging" AMD 956BE or not, but man this game is VERY demanding on the hardware.

It boggles my mind how people can think that having a game which can't run properly on 500$ video cards is a good thing.
That is NOT a sign of exceptional graphics, there are plenty of graphical powerhouses which run exceptionally well on mid-end hardware, ffs.
It should work properly, or otherwise it's a broken product. If you can't max it out on the best hardware available it means it's a turd, not a gem or whatever names people give it.

What is wrong with putting in graphic features that a $500 cannot run currently? I see nothing wrong with making a game that is a little before its time graphically. /shrug

What? I can remember the days when a newly released PC game could not be run at high framerates when on all maxed settings and highest resolution no matter how high end your PC was. But those were the days when software actually pushed hardware advancement. That hardly ever happens anymore.

Disagree, PC gaming is about pushing hardware and software.

Consoles are there if you want <cough> gem graphics at decent frame rates.
