Making my way through Last Epoch with my necro. Currently at Lagon who is a real pita, partly due to my shitty gear which makes me literally a oneshot for him. Aside from a few minor bugs here and there it's not a bad game, although the gods of drops kinda failed me so far, i found tons of uniqes for almost every OTHER class but nothing for mine so far, thx, rng-a-holes %%$§".

On the other hand, his minions well he teleports you are a pain in the arse. Its a timed event though if i remember rightly, and you just need to survive till the moon covers over i think.
I wouldnt worry to much about the uniques, not many drop in the campaign, and there are not that many "class" specific ones either, so you are not really missing anything. Only a few are really useful for leveling, and even then, only for like 10-20 levels ish.
Its cool to see people enjoying it though. the more the merrier!Never put off tomorrow what you can put off today!

got past Lagon (you can kinda "cheat" to make it a LOT easier ) although the encounter is currently broken. Game seems to be a lot easier than 2 years ago. Need to work on my resistance stats. Still unsure about the build itself, man there are literally hundreds of different builds out there right now.
Some random low quality screens
One of many bugs
Before Lagon
Eat that, sucker
I like the way you can manage your items

EDIT: incase you are curious, wolcen just released a big update as well. actually looks like it could be maybe time to think about the idea of possibly giving it another try at deciding if its something you could... buh, maybe worth playing again.Never put off tomorrow what you can put off today!

Finished Jedi: Fallen Order. Now working my way through Horizon: Zero Dawn.
The steam deck rocks. Total backlog killer!

Am playing Company of Heroes 3. Gameplaywise I love it, graphically I love it - it combines COH1's fun with COH2's QoL. At the same time, the game doesn't feel finished, especially in the menu structure and the details in how the Italian campaign is played.
Finished the Italian campaign though, will start the 'regular' campaign soon!May the Yods be silent

Finished Gotham Knights campaign as Robin. Gotta say, I enjoyed it more than the last Arkham game with all of the forced Batmobile interactions for the sake of forcing you to use the batmobile to limb skyscrapers and drive on top of walls.A hobbiest foundry and forge in progress, plans, suppliers, showcasing ideas

well, i really wished it had an option to mark spots on the map, would've made a lot of things SO much easier, but that aside i really liked it. Also it would've been nice to know that some of the (side) quests were time-limited
Weird, I never noticed that. I guess I did most of them fairly soon after.

Played through Metal Slug XX.
It's pretty much the same as the others. Contra-like side scrolling shooter. Fun, but short. The game is difficult, but they give you infinite continues, so you can just keep dying until you win.
I did spend a stupid amount of time on the game. This one has challenges, which are tied to achievements. Things like, beat a level or a boss without dying, and speed runs. It extended the game's short play time to give you something to attempt to master. Made for a good podcast game.

Played through Prey (2006). At the time I played the demo, and thought it was a dull affair with portals thrown in. The gunplay was boring and lifeless, the weapons hardly distinguishable from one another, and graphically it was barely up to par. A decade and a half later, not much has changed. A boring shooter with some interesting concepts and level design - but too sporadic to be an enjoyable experience overall other than to waste some time.May the Yods be silent

Prey '06 is not bad per se - I got through the game after all - but it certainly wasn't a match for the actual good games of the era.May the Yods be silent

Tried to get back into Wolcen, it's somehow just not fun, i can't even tell why.
Same goes for (T)ESO, i suddenly remembered why i stopped playing it back then, it's the ****** level scaling amongst a lot of other stuff
Still foolin around in Last Epoch.
Starting Wigmund is the next thing i guess.

And unfortunately, I do not feel Prey was ever excellent - I didn't think so back then, don't think so today. By comparison, Half-Life 2 is two years older and by far the superior experience. It makes Prey look like a game from 2002 with its non-existent character animation, rudimentary enemy design and behavior, mod-level quality vehicle sections... Another comparison would be Portal. Just one year younger, it blows Prey out of the water in terms of what's done with portals.

Its fine not to like it, but damn your criteria is high. Sure hale life 2 was a better game, so what? How does that have any impact on prey?

Finished Hogwarts Legacy. Well, the main quest line anyway. I could continue playing to finish all the relationship and field guide quests, but I'd rather not. I was level 33 when I fought the level 35 baddie at the end, so that was pretty tough. I'd recommend most people to be at least level 35 before doing the final main quest mission. Good story overall. 8/10“The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.” – Abraham Lincoln

played through Bramble: The Mountain King in one go. Great visuals, awesome score, gritty lil game. Liked it. Although it's very short.
Now back to my re-play of Divine Divinity 2: Definitve Edition. Still easily one of the best rpgs i've played. Still looking fo a cheap second (non GoG) key for my wife because she wants to play it too.
