Finished Disco Elysium, (an RPG with 'dialogue gameplay' similar to old school rpgs like planescape torment) in about 40 hours. It's very well written, (possibly the best writing in any game this decade?). Every single facet of the game, the characters, the fictional world, the buildings, the factions etc have an immense and in-depth back story to unravel or optionally learn about. It's extremely impressive the amount of depth packed into such a small slice of a fictional city.
There is no combat, the entire game is experienced through dialogue, exploration, solving tasks, and learning/reading new information. Information is your weapon here, as it will help you navigate through the ocean of dialogue being thrown at you, with its twists and turns (and hundreds of dialogue skill checks). Unlike other games, failing a dialogue skill check is not necessarily a bad outcome, as it might open up completely new dialogue and gameplay paths. It's intended.
I'm quite glad I picked this game up and went in completely blind. Only criticisms I have is the lack of fast travel (coming down to the end, some of the backtracking was tedious) and somewhat clunky movement (they should patch in a 'hold down mouse button to move' option). It's not a game for everyone, especially not for those who don't like reading dialogue or need combat in their games.
Still playing a lot of Remnant, From the Ashes co-op. Lots of fun. I've beaten the game twice, but I'm pretty sure I still haven't seen all of the bosses available.
On the final third or so of XCOM2: War of the Chosen. It's like replaying XCOM2, but you forgot half of its features, because that's what they added. Expansions are awesome.
Finished Halo: Reach on Heroic under six hours. I never realized the game was so short. Will be replaying on Legendary though, like I've always done with the finer Halo games.
Hit L90 on my Slayer character in the latest Path of Exile league, Metamorph. The league mechanic is a lot more fun than I expected (summoning a boss based on the body parts you collect in the zone), and the reworked Atlas (end game maps) has some cool new features to play with. I've been playing quite casually as there's a lot of other titles on the backlog, and PoE itself needs a few QoL upgrades to remove some of the tedium from the game.

I just cant bring myself to play much, knowing poe 2 is on the way... i need that new campaign so bdly :/
Never put off tomorrow what you can put off today!
Going to be punching through Turing Test, GRID, NFS Heat, SW BF2 celebration update, MK11, COD MW, SCVI, and a few more games I downloaded from game pass, EPIC, Origin Premier and Steam lol.
I don’t think I will ever finish the games I have.
Which endings did you get? When you say finished, do you mean you played it through once? twice? four times? or did you hunt down all the secrets?
"Finished" in this case means I got the endings you'd expect based on the more obvious choices you can make, but I didn't hunt down all nineteen of them.

A few easier ones i remember.
1, Jump out the window in the first office. You have to walk/crouch/jump up the chair thats lower than the others or something.
2, Press the four buttons on the computers around the offices and then go back into your own office and press your computer.
3, When you go into the bosses office and the door closes automatically so you cant go back? Run back out the door the moment before it closes. Do it right and it should be locked with you outside the office. I think you then go back to your own office, but i forget.
4, the elevator going up from the room with all the screens. You can back off the elevator just before the door closes, just like the bosses door above. But this time stay in that room and press the button behind you somewhere.
They were just ones i remembered sitting here, but i think they were all pretty easy to do.
Also, play the demo if you have not. Its an entirely different story.

I looked up the remaining endings through guides. The point of the game is to play with the sense of freedom and the relationship between a game and the player; I felt I had enough of that a few rounds in. Moving on to the next half dozen unplayed games.
Started playing MK11 and man the storyline, action sequences and cut scenes are better than most movies these days. Thoroughly enjoying it. Just hit Chapter 9. Will finish it today. Good buy for same price as a cinema ticket.
Finished Superhot. After The Stanley Parable, it's a little strange to be playing another game that wants to discuss the relationship between the player, the player's agency and the video game itself. Superhot's gameplay mechanics are cool, though I wish they'd done a bit more with that in the campaign.
Started playing Bad North, a cute little strategy game that's all about placing your units, with an overarching FTL-like campaign. Simple at first glance, and on Easy I don't think it's going to get very challenging, but it's a wonderfully relaxing game that focuses very well on its core gameplay loop. Recommended, because little games like this one get drowned out by the big hits easily.
Hit L94 on my Slayer character in the Metamorph Path of Exile league. I'm pretty much done gearing him up I think, took about 32Ex which isn't too bad, considering that the price of watchers eyes went up about 1.5x to 2.0x this league due to rarity.
Fought the new big bad boss (Sirius the Awakener) though failed horribly at the fight. I'm not a fan of the dynamic arena during the fight, I won't get into it you should experience it yourself. After the holiday break I'm sure more tweaks will happen to that encounter.
Still playing casually, filling out the new atlas and having fun with the league mechanic. While the new atlas has some cool features, it's becoming clearer that the devs wanted to slow down end game progress a bit. Player retention has been a big part of their discussions at developer conferences.

Is it better though, or do you think they will need tochange the end game agin?

Is it better though, or do you think they will need to change the end game again?
GGG loves change, it doesn't matter if its better or worse, they will definitely overhaul the entire thing or iterate on parts of the system. My personal thoughts are that its better in some ways (like having the ability to upgrade every map on the atlas to T14-T16), but worse in some ways (like having invisible (thus unsearchable) maps on the atlas, forcing you to have a cheat sheet up on your second monitor)
Finished Grid. 7.5/10. A poor man’s Forza 7. It didn’t have the tracks, the cars and the sound but it had some decent gameplay still. Once I got the handle of it was good enough to finish just enough to clear out the World Series. Uninstalled.
Started Never Alone. It is a little kid with a fox and bad indie graphics.
Never Alone is an interesting game from a cultural point of view, I liked it. But really KAC, you'd play anything so long as there are pixels moving on the screen, no?
Started playing The Talos Principle. Having finished its first 'world', I feel its square tetris puzzles are already overstaying their welcome. The game had better step up its freshness on a different level than just the look of the world.
Started pumping through some more speed games namely Need for Speed 2016 and Need for Speed Payback. Also installed Wreck Fest and Frostpunk. I have been wanting to try all these POS games but never had the willingness to pay for them. This Origin Premier is not bad at all to just dump some hours in mindless games at no added cost. I am glad I indulged.
Similarly, also installed some XB GP games as well and of course the epic free giveaways. Thus far all these passes have delivered their money’s worth and more and if this continues I doubt I will be purchasing any other games at full price. Similarly, I think Sony should do a pass and then I am golden.
