Been playing Apex Legends recently. Really liking this. Pretty hard at first but then you get the hang of it. Put in 8 hours and won 1 game and came second in quite a few.

Picked up a Plague Tale: Innocence on Friday. Finished it in two or three sittings over the weekend. 9/10 for me. Fantastic game and an amazing story.

I've purchased Borderlands Handsome Collection to complete my BL2 DLC and asked my friend to buy it (it's 97% sale) so we've been playing for a couple of days now. Fun games to play co-op

Punched through all of Assassins Creed Odyssey DLC Legacy and I'm now into the First episode of Atlantis. And I'm now a Billy bad ass level 54 Alexious! 90 hours in! Another good purchase.

Hit Level 90 in Path of Exile Legion league yesterday on my Champion 2H crit sword character. Melee got a lot of love, not only were there decent improvements for Melee builds, skills and animations - but a versatile array of supports and buffs to choose from so that there's fair amount of diversity even among players using the same primary skills.

There's still some core issues which can drastically take the fun out the game, such as the bullshit 1-shot deaths or the over-tuning of the league mechanic to the point where players skip it so the game plays just like Standard league. (they just released a patch nerfing some of the league mechanic mobs, this is a common pattern every league)

That said the game is in a great state right now, chock full of content and a lot of fun to be had for both new or returning players. The poemap.live tool has made trading maps a lot easier than the nightmare it used to be, give it a try if you're filling in your atlas.

Finished ACO plus all 5 DLC, now waiting for the last one to drop. Put in 109 hours on it. Started this one late compared to everyone else. Didn't originally get into it like Origins but went in full tilt on it this month.

If I have yet to even buy Assassin's Creed: Odyssee, should I buy all content there is, or just look for a good deal on the main game? Is it satisfying enough on its own?

By the end of base game you will want the DLC. I would suggest getting the season pass on sale though. Not sure what the price is these days.

Playing it different then Origins, stuck to the story instead of doing every little thing that came along, I am now going back and doing some exploring, up to 115 hours now asking about price, game with DLC can be had direct from ubi on sale for $26

Interesting how casually you could play and max the battle pass. Could probably do it while only playing 2-3 hours a week.

It still the only BR game which has real time fast paced offensive/defensive building mechanics in it, I wonder when other big studios are going to try their hand at the building genre. No matter how many other BR games get released, eventually their popularity dies down yet this doesn't happen to FN, and building probably has a large part to do with it.

Apex hasn’t died down yet.

I just can’t stand fortnite’s gun play or clunky movement. Apex is so fluid in both those regards..

Finished Layers of Fear 2 last Tuesday and liked it. Started playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Boy are the graphics and sound good. Good game so far too.

Replaying F.E.A.R., and I'm just past the Bishop level and on the roof. Such a sweet flow. I'm using that dinput8.dll file from the internet in the game's root directory so as to eliminate slowdowns without having to keep restarting, or disabling hidden HID devices in Device Manager.

I am really making good use of the game pass ultimate on the PC and the box. Already finished Halo Wars 2. Started playing Vampyr, Halo Spartan Assault and Halo Spartan Strike. Also started Sunset Overdrive. Finally I am also punching through ReCore and about halfway through that game. Next up I will download GOW UE for PC. Amazing value. I also downloaded Wolf 2 and Doom on the box. For some reason those games are not available on PC in my region.

Finished ReCore Definitive Edition. I am glad this game failed miserably. One of the most frustrating and buggy games in recent memory. For **** sakes it didn’t even have control over its window and while aiming the taskbar kept showing up. Seriously? Wtf. I recommend that nobody ever pays anything for it or plays this game. Ever.

While playing MotoGP19, I also installed FEAR: Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate. I'm an hour into Extraction Point and wow it hasn't aged well. I'm pretty sure EP was even outdated upon release. It's a 2006 expansion to a 2005 game and it's difficult to imagine that just one year later, this blocky mess of warehouse level design was followed by Uncharted, Crackdown, Portal, Halo 3 and everything else that made the PS3/X360 generation so great.

No widescreen is forgivable circa 2006, but not so much the mundane acting, the lack of interaction with the environment or the NPCs, the repetitive level design that doesn't rise above the original, the afterthought story...

I suppose I'll blast through it out of love for the decent firefights, but the moment the credits roll, I'll hope to have forgotten all about the game.

None of the fear expansion packs were any goode. EP was the only ok one though. Started rough, but actually still has decent moments and it can grab you if you let it. Dont even bother with anything else. Perseus was utter trash. It's what happens when you have other studios making expansions for your game. They should have had the main studio do it, but publishers dont care about the products, only the monies.

I got this game as part of the humble bundle, I wasn't sure of it because I'm not into survival/crafting sims but I have a couple hundred hours in it.

There is something calming and serene about this game, as an isolationist I love just spending my time in the quiet bliss.

My advice is maybe you should wait until the single player story mode is complete.

Sadly not. I believe only 2 or 3 of 5 episodes are complete.

Eta is a long way off as they redid the original 2 episodes as they were very fetchy.
