played some Bard's Tale, trying different setups. Funny enough the Bards seem to be the worst choice of all classes, but that might be just me

Every time you beat the hand of the king, he drops a red globe, that's a boss cell.
When you go back to the starting area, there's a glass tube with water, you select it and press right stick and you active the boss cell.
Game gets harder and unlocks the forge so you can pay for weapon upgrades and stuff.
You can beat him 3 more times to get up to 4 boss cells.
Game is really hard. No more heals at 3 and 4 boss cells, and on 4 cells, you get malaise points every single hit you take. Once you take 10 hits, you start losing HP until you die lol.
4 Boss Cells + Elite mode v2 mod (every mob is an elite) + 20X mod (20x everything), is incredibly insane
Also, there are 4 doors on each level with circles on them, they correspond to the number of boss cells active.
Also, they are working on a new patch, and a new boss, as there is a 5 cell door in each level.
EDIT: just found a teaser image from the devs for the first DLC

It's good. I'll wait for the new stuff and get back into it.
You actually have to pick it up off the ground when you beat the hand. Maybe you missed it and went into the fountain?
There was someone else on the forums that complained that you shouldn't be able to do that, because it happened to them.(\_/)

It seems I'm not the only one confused by that glass forge at the beginning.
I'll have to check this out later today.
If you have beaten the hand, at the starter forge you need to select it (where it says no cells) then push over to one side. There is no button option and it isn’t the lot intuitive design.

Got nothing better to play but Rise Of Tomb Raider. Back then when it first come out I found it to be incredibly boring. It still do but lack of any better game to play so I just kept playing. Around 63% completion now. Still think the 2013 was better, and Legend was better than any new ones.Originally posted by jimjobobIf 3 fans left the station at 10:30am cooling at a temp of 63c and one fan was derailed by a stray sata cable on the track, how long would it take all 3 fans to get on Seyiji's last nerve?

Finished Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Overall great game but it has big pacing issues; it has boring sections and great sections. Took me 30 hours to get 100% completion. Looking forward to the DLC challenge tombs, since challenge tombs are the highlight of the game.*Sending A Dream Into the Universe*

Finished Rise of Tomb Raider. 2/10. Still managed 89% by the time I finished it. Couldn't be bothered to finish all of it, most of the upgrades are trivial. Not gonna bother with Shadow of Tomb Raider at all.
Replaying Witcher 3 from scratch. Each time I play this game an hour passes. Just so much things to do.Originally posted by jimjobobIf 3 fans left the station at 10:30am cooling at a temp of 63c and one fan was derailed by a stray sata cable on the track, how long would it take all 3 fans to get on Seyiji's last nerve?

More Monster Hunter World (Hunter rank 162!) and loving it. Don't see myself ever getting bored. I play a few hunts every day and sometimes try new builds and weapons.
Also went back to working on Ni Nu Kuni II. Reached chapter 4 where the game introduces me to the kingdom building. Looks interesting so far.*Sending A Dream Into the Universe*

Continued Witcher 3 too. I've retried the towerful of mice since I done the wrong things before. No wonder it always raining in Valen on my previous game.Originally posted by jimjobobIf 3 fans left the station at 10:30am cooling at a temp of 63c and one fan was derailed by a stray sata cable on the track, how long would it take all 3 fans to get on Seyiji's last nerve?

Oh, and I forgot how abysmally painful the combat can be until you learn/relearn it LOL. I felt like I had never used a controller before after the first couple of fights against multiple enemies.

The game itself is very complex, one quest could affect another if chose wrongly. Even the sidequest.
Agreed about the combat, it wasn't as bad as the first Witcher though. Riding horse is a pain too using keyboard+mouse.
Anyway how do you treat your Geralt? You become a true Witcher like the book? Or you just be whatever you want to be?Originally posted by jimjobobIf 3 fans left the station at 10:30am cooling at a temp of 63c and one fan was derailed by a stray sata cable on the track, how long would it take all 3 fans to get on Seyiji's last nerve?

I don't know how he's portrayed in the book, but in my game Geralt is apolitical. I avoid (to the extent possible) anything to do with the court intrigue and political stuff in the game, even if quests fail on me.
My Geralt also just dumped Yen like a dirty diaper because who can deal with that snotty over bearing attitude?
Still has his beard and long hair and stops to kill every bandit.

Finally finished Prey. Good game, i liked it!
Started playing Nioh - feels very Souls-y so enjoying it. The game does feel a tad spammy when it comes to loot - cant walk 10 meters before i have new gear to switch too.. I thought I'm the only one who annoyed by Yen. But in my first game I stayed with her despite the hate. I take Triss in this playthrough. You know when I first encounter Triss and her charm, it really felt I'm in love in real life, reminding me of my first love. Weird feeling over character in game

It's still beyond me why they gave Yen that personality. A woman can be strong without being an ass. I actually got to see a "You can't attack this character" or something like that over her
Yep Triss is awesome, Kiera is not lol. I love the characters in this game because a couple remind me of real life family and friends, Zoltan and Crach (sp?) to be specific.
Still waiting for a mod that lets me feed Yen to the sirens

I made the mistake of trying to woo both Yen and Triss.
That didn't end well.
It's a testament to CDP how the accounted for "playa's" like me in the game's quest line.
Ultimately I ended up watching the "good ending with Triss" video on Youtube. I just pretend I went down that path instead.“The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.” – Abraham Lincoln
