Been playing Risen 3 exclusivly lately. My character is pretty strong now, im cutting through mobs like nothing now with my pirate sword and 80 in melee skill.
Might have to buy Risen 2 after this xD

Third boss down in The Surge. Great set up, nasty issue with my build seeming to want to fly out of the arena over and over. Meh, moving on. Great game so far but for that.
Completed Assassin's Creed Unity, I had skipped it way back when it came out due to the reports of the poor condition of the game. Glad I decided to pick it up, while there's some jankiness (esp with the clunky "almost turn based" melee combat) the game is pretty much stable and bug free now and was enjoyable throughout. There is a vast amount of content which makes the game completely worth the price you can pick it up at right now - while you can complete the game in about 30 hours you can probably get 150 hours worth of solid gameplay from it if you try to complete all or even most of the optional content it offers.
Similarly to Syndicate, I was very very impressed by the world created by the environment team. Ubisoft has some of the best environment teams working on their AC games, the cities in their last two mainstream offerings (Syndicate/Unity) have been master classes in how to recreate a game world inspired by cities hundreds of years old. No rush to use fast travel in this game, just casually running around the map taking in the architecture/atmosphere is an enjoyable experience.
Lastly I have to mention the crowd tech they have in this game, it's probably the most impressive crowd technology ever shipped in a retail game ? Crowds of NPCs in the thousands, without needing excessive LOD scaling, ie fairly high poly with proper lighting are a sight and wonder to behold. I see now there are quite a few articles/papers on the crowd tech used in this game, they did push the bar to a new level.

Dont, Risen 2 was frustrating. Risen was great, and risen 3 was great in a sandboxy kind of way, but two was kind of bad.
Just wait for elex i guess, or the two worlds 2 update in june maybe?
Never put off tomorrow what you can put off today!
Finished the last Deus Ex: Mankind Divided DLC "A criminal past". Not sure how I felt about it. The story was ok, and the prison was pretty intricate. I just didnt like the lack of powers and it felt like some parts you were forced into head on combat.
Finished Vanquish, it was alright, feels like people oversold it a bit, the shootbang isn't that great, but the game still manages to be fun.
For me, it is AMAZING! The great thing about it is it's arcade feel and I love that. I don't want long games with RPG elements, I want short arcade games that are none stop fun! And Vanquish is exactly that.
Update: Finished Vanquish and now started Rime. The game starts really nice and can't wait to see what it has in store.
Finished CnC Red Alert Soviet campaign. I never knew that Red Alert is prequel to Command and Conquer so my mind is blown after 20 years this game is released
So I continue playing Command and Conquer, trouble is its hard to get it run properly on modern OS even with The First Decade installer, with tons of fixes and unofficial patch I got it run, but not smoothly. I thinking of building retro gaming PC, I salvage old Athlon64 PC but it's unbootable with two mobos, I think the CPU is dead

It is but Red Alert 2 follows an alternate reality alongside the Original CnC. So RA1 is a prequel to both RA2 and CnC1.
Just finished RiME. Great game and very relaxing. Think of it as a 3D version of Inside (gameplay wise).
Now back to Prey!

bahh I reinstalled Win 10 before I did I backed everything up, I was actually just going to take the whole C: drive and copy it over.. but I didn't/
Everything went smoothly and for whatever reason with the new version of Win 10 installed I have no more issues with the creators update, everything is flawless...
But I lost my Dark Souls 3 character, the save local wasn't in the normal spot. ****ing pissed i lost my character SL 135 and was just starting the last DLC.
So **** it
Dark Souls 3 finished. The Ringed City was pretty tough starting out.
on another note I do recommend re installing windows 10 like every year or so. It makes a big difference and its easier now than ever.
I am not buying anything. Got enough games to bone as it is. Only buy very high profile titles like Prey and Injustice 2 this year I think. Maybe also Horizon Zero Dawn.
I need to finish DXMD today or tomorrow to be counted towards MNB's crappy list of games finished

Hehe. Well, if it makes you feel better, I haven't done great for May myself either!

Prey won't be finished in May anytime soon and I am ok with that. I am 16 hours in and can easily see that time exploding to +25 hours. It has a fun sandboxy feel to it without going overboard. The side quests are actually quiet interesting from a gameplay perspective. Really turned out better than what I expected and it seems Arkane delivered on this one.
One note though is I am no longer doing these forced achievement playthroughs (i.e. go all Typhon or non-typhon upgrades). I feel that kinda limited my experimentation and enjoyment. Unlike in Dishonored 2 where it was actually fun doing a no kill playthrough. I decided to play Prey like an Arkane version of Doom and am enjoying it that way.
P.S. Last day to finish anything you haven't for May month! Thread will be up tomorrow!

I got no work at work so I replay GTA San Andreas from start and spray all tags, this is the first time I ever spray all those tags after my 10th playthrough. I'm at Whetstone now, collecting snapshots at San Fierro, 10 out of 50 is done. Also done ambulance till level 13 so I got 150% health and firefighter level 13 so I completely fireproof, next is vigilante to get 150% armor.

10th Playthrough
Man I am enjoying Prey a lot! It really feels like Deus Ex more than the modern Deus Ex games. I like it more already than Dishonored 2 and rank it as one of the best games of 2017 easily. I also consider it far superior than Bioshock(s) from a gameplay perspective.
Also played some Guilty Gear Xrd Rev. 2. Two new awesome characters and an impressive lobby system (like, the best).
Tried the CFN Update on SFV which made online match load a notch faster and added new trials, overall quality of life improvements and a totally new character (Ed) who has special moves that require NO MOTIONS! A first for a SF game. So he is totally unique in terms of control and is fun to play. Sadly his design isn't interesting that much.

I can't stick to one game and finish it, I don't know why. Random game I play is Crysis, CnC Tiberian Sun, CnC Tiberium Dawn, Halo Combat Evolved, GTAV and Borderlands 2.

Was sick this weekend, so marathon-ed right through Quantum Break. Was easily worth $20. Story was fun, acting was good, and combat was decent. Played it with a controller on hard, and really enjoyed it. Performance was decent I guess... it felt smooth anyway. Not sure why this game was trashed, I enjoyed it more than the max payne games.
So I did one or maybe 2 missions in BF4 SP campaign.
Most of my time is being spent playing Injustice 2 mobile.
I also punched a few missions in ME:A. I failed an optional objective and it didn't trigger my OCD to re-do past 5 minutes of gameplay. It is that bad.

You tried to play bf1 as well but got rocked by me and brad so you left. lol.

Sittal on BF2142 "wtf. seriously. this has got to be the worst game i have EVER played. far worse than left behind."
Logical "u dont have to lie to us that u got fired again we dont judge here that your 🌯 weren't up to snuff."
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that I can play at anything more than 150-180 pings now. I can't seem to hit anyone. Literally shooting point blank at people and they register no damage anymore. It is like BF4 patch 2 all over again from what I remember.
Given the way things are going, I doubt it will get "fixed" this time.
Punched down about 4-5 hours of Sword Coast Legends with shadowcult.
Rolled deep into Drow territory got a moontear stolen from me and sent a Succubus whore to melt in heaven.

I have to unlock Mythic Wonder Woman in Arena mode of Injustice 2. That means I need to play at least 45 minutes every 12 hours in arena battles for the next 5 days to do that. It is what I am playing every day. Injustice 2 on my mobile phone. Seriously.
Also put in a few minutes here and there in Mass Effect Andromeda before I completely lose interest.
I also punched a couple of rounds in Overwatch and it is still crap but a bit less smelly crap since I am ok to spend about 5-10 minutes in 1-2 matches because I like cartoons.
Finished Risen 3. Fun game, but I quickly got overpowered and after like 30-40% of the game i was just rushing into combat not caring since nothing could touch me - made combat a bit dull sadly. Still overall a "typical" pyhranna bytes (+spelling) game - if you've played the gothic games before you'll feel at home. Finished the game with attributes (all but ranged) at 105 (max) and had only played melee (sword) so cannot comment on magic.
Next is the new Ghost Recon (forgot its name).

With the lower budgets, the game have been worse. Risen was pretty decent most of the way through, but risen 2 and 3 were easily the worst of their games. Not bad exactly, but their worst. I really hope the new one turns out to be something special. I have high hopes for it and Two Worlds 3.
Never put off tomorrow what you can put off today!
For some reason I replayed
Gears of War 4 on Insane. I gotta say there are certain set pieces in that game on Insane that no matter what you do your dead. There are 4-5 battles that were so hard i almost gave up. But ...
Gears of War 4 Insane difficulty completed. For the most part it was fun.
Dark Souls 3 all bosses cleared.. except for the Ringed City. Lost my save profile..
Dark Souls 3 completed.
