      I've been fine, then installed cat 4.12 betas over the top of 4.9's and lots of probs, uninstalled all and did a fresh install of cat4.12 betas and it fixed them all up again.

          1024x768 8xaf 4aa on a 9600 pro, xp2500@200x115 on a A7N8x deluxe with 1G of memory.

          Smooth with the occasional stutter during loading & saving(adds character )

          Authentication took an excruciatingly long 10 minutes. (steam preload)

                              zero probs for me 2

                              i finished it at 2am this morning. it was the best experience i have had in ages and it lived up to the hype. valve did an incredible job. It wasnt like playing a game it was like being in a sci fi movie. the ending i thoroughly enjoyed and was in awe at the size of the citadel and its secrets. its a game i will certainly play again and look forward impatiently to the sequel!

                              its one of the few games im pleased i bought and would have been happy to pay more fore.

                              also STEAM worked flawlessly for me too.

                                    No problems at all... Steam worked like a charm (playing 10 mins after the release), system is holding up, and all settings on MAX! :-)

                                        I run the game at, medium character detail, high textures, high shader, medium everything else @ 1024x768 and 4AF. Performance is really good (for this type of system - 40-70fps usually). No problems experienced; inc sound etc.
