UT2004 has 64bit

i thought farcry was suppose to be the first 64bit game.

STALKER, Farcry, HL2, all announced 64bit support..
I guess we will have to wait and se who hits the market with it first..
Spose there is no rush with official 64bit releases before WinXP 64bit is out tho..

All it is Nvidia giving them development cash in exchange for their intro at the beginning of the game. Optimisation is minor at best, just look at Doom 3 & HL2(well Source anyway) for example - both run just fine on both cards.

I never applied up to ant BETA test stages. I would be interested to apply to STALKER thought.

What are the usual requirements for BETA testing? STALKER is promoting Nvidia tho, I don't plan to buy nVidia Card soon. Could it be a disadvantage ?

In other news THQ and AMD announced yesterday that they are working on a 64 bit version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. According to the two companies S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 64 bit will offer more detailed environments, a larger game world and more players per map.

The odds are just the same as any other non mmorpg beta the farcry one only had 5000 people on it.

And I doubt it will be mainly for 6800 users as it's a beta test and they will want as many different setups as they can get.

6800 users will probobly have the advantage since its TWIMTBP
