yeah it was never happening. covid killed it, when everyone realized it was just so much better and easier to do it themselves, and then keeley on top of that filled in any left over spot. e3 is just pointless at this point.Never put off tomorrow what you can put off today! -

I think it is a shame, I preferred the more concentrated e3 format over this whole "summer of gaming" concept where they spread out announcements over several months.Comment

Writing was on the wall for a while. With more publishers pulling out it was inevitable. I think it's more natural to let publishers do their own showcase whenever they're ready, rather than try to meet E3 dates. With E3 over the last few years 90% of games get announced in the weeks leading up to the event anyway.Comment
