Any virus scanners working with Windows 7 beta?

Are there any virus scanners that work with Windows 7 beta?

I used Avira for a few days too, and it worked fine. As of right now I'm checking out that Kaspersky beta on the MS list cause it's free and I wanted to try it.

          Thanks for the replies.

When I follow the link link from Microsoft to AVG, it lists Windows 7 support. But when I follow the links to actually download it, it's the regular retail version with no mention of Windows 7.

I'll give AVG Free a whirl.

Kaspersky doesn't like me too much so far . The "action center" popped up and alerted me that it Kas had turned off Win Firewall and turned it's own on (which I already knew, I did it) and asked me to choose if I really really wanted to keep using it, which I said yes, leave the Kaspersky firewall running and keep Windows Firewall off. Well Kas didn't like that too much and threw up an error, then wanted to phone home a bug report. I said what the hey, they'll want to know about this so I told it to go ahead.

Well, it then proceeded to "archive" and then transmit an almost one gigabyte file back to Kaspersky (I guess). WTF was in that one gig's worth of info that they tried to send? I terminated the process in any case, it was taking forever with my slow ass upload speed and the "archiving" portion had already went on and on and on. I guess that was compressing whatever info it wanted to send.

Confirmed. AVG Free installs and seems to be working. I haven't done a full system scan yet, but I don't expect any issues.

any that work with vista will work, at least thats my experience so far. i'm guessing its due to the fact that vista is 6.0 and win7 is 6.1

I had that problem with KIS8 when I did the 'Upgrade' to 7 from Vista. In fact, it even did a couple other things on different reboots until it finally disabled itself altogether and just enabled the Windows Firewall.

I installed 7 from a format and then installed KIS8 using my license and it works great. NO issues whatsoever.

This is using Windows7 build 7000 with KIS 8.0.506
