How can I create a mirrored software raid in WinXP PRO?

I taught XP had this feature built in, but Disc Managment only lets me select stripped (there is no option for mirroring). Does anyone know how to do this or is there freeware utilies for this?

Use your onboard disc controller (if it supports RAID), or buy an inexpensive RAID controller. Hacking Windows XP to support disc mirroring is an incredibly bad idea, as that hacked executable could be replaced at any time by a hotfix or update, which will break your array.

Ok got it working. I just had to copy the modified files one by one or else windows will automaticly replace the files without asking you first. Yep and people be cautios if using this hack as said before me MS can easily update those files, but since this computer is never to be updated again I have no worries.

Sounds like your asking for trouble.
