Can I save a copy of my Windows XP Add/Remove Programs list?

Just what the title says. I want to know if there is a way to just dump the contents of my Add/Remove Programs list to a text file to make it easier on me to see what I need to reinstall when my new comp hw gets here.

You could try Add/Remove Master, supposed to list your installed apps. I've never used it.

An alternative would be to use Dir 2 File on your Programs folder.

Thanks a bunch man. I'll prolly just end up command prompting "dir /b > file.txt" if that 1st prog doesn't work.

I was thinking about print screen + ocr'ing the shot... but after recently using a photoscanner + adobe acrobat to scan 1500+ images, I'm about scanned out... seriously
