Weird, DSL Connections disappearing in Network Connections

In XP, every time I make a new DSL Connection in Network Connections, they keep disappearing when I restart or Turn my computer back on . They are still on the system, because every time I turn on my computer, that network connections dialog box pops up listing all the DSL Connections I created. You know, the one that says a program is trying to use the internet but can't because I'm not on-line. Whats happening???
