Question regarding a clean install of Windows 10

I'm on X79 with a 3930K. The latest motherboard drivers for my GIGABYTE GA-X79-UD3 are from 2015 as per the GIGABYTE website. My question is, if I do a clean install of Windows 10, do I install these drivers from the GIGABYTE website or just let Windows 10 do its thing and install everything for me?

Windows 10 will install the chipset drivers and the bulk of everything else for your board. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I looked the board up it seems to have very common parts like the onboard sound, nic the only thing you might want to research is USB - 2 x Fresco FL1009 chips. I am not familiar with these chips but I am sure Microsoft is.

    good luck

Go with the Win 10 built-in drivers unless you have issues. They work great for my 5-year-old mobo+NIC+audio.

You could also grab Intel's Driver & Support assistant and let it find and install any newer drivers directly from Intel.
