Chrome. I have it linked between my phone, laptop, and desktop. I like it. I can open a tab on my desktop that’s still open on my phone.

It was chrome up until I read some pretty nasty stuff on what information they were collecting and then I changed back to Firefox.

                Shame too. I loved Chrome.

It's not as important now tbh; a multitude of Chrome skins and Firefox.
Completely forgot about Vivaldi though, it was supposed to be a revival of the Opera glory days. Does it deliver?

Your browser game is weak .

Make tabs bar your title bar.
Get rid of the menu bar and tooltips.
Put nav buttons and address bar on same row.
Switch to a dynamic status bar that only pops up while page is loading or when you hover over links.

That's 5 lines of screen real estate that you're essentially wasting away.

Firefox. Because standards, because open source, because not Chrome/Chromium, a little diversity is always good. Because it's fast and it just works too

It's not quite where the old Opera was in terms of customization. It's missing some old Opera features, but added in some new ones. But it's rapidly developing. And head and shoulders better than anything else.

Firefox 56 for my power browsing. Firefox newest at work.

The market share for Firefox is abysmal (~9&#37 these days and I'm not sure what will happen to them over the next 5 years. They tried to Chromerfy themselves and it hasn't really worked in terms of popularity. They'll probably hold on to their small market share, assuming they don't drop below ~3%. Chrome absolutely crushing it right now, at like 70% on desktop.

Interesting, I didn't know they backported the new Edge to Windows 7 and 8.1.

I might give it a test run on my 8.1 box.

Well, on one side you have Google's commercial powerhouse and on the other... Even Microsoft's line of products doesn't hold up, and that's with a probably significant portion of corporate desktops using one of the two by default. If statcounter is correct, on desktops, FF has double the market share of Edge or Internet Explorer (or roughly the same share as both browsers combined).

If the poll over here is any indication it seems Firefox mostly sticks with tech enthusiasts...

Posting now from the latest Dev build. I must say I'm favorably impressed... It's a huge step forward from the mess of an UI that is the original Edge on Windows 10.

I haven't been on Chrome for a long time but this Edge and Firefox could be confused with each other when put side by side. Deep dive into the options seems a little more straightforward on this Edge too.

Missing my extensions of course, but not bad, not bad.
