Got a virus, cleaned, can't browse but can ping [SOLVED]

So got a virus looking at goat porn, cleaned it and now I can't browse at all. Can ping, I've released renewed, etc. Nothing. It's across all programs. No access to Internet. Steam etc. I'm on Windows 7.

    Virus was majun.exe

Reset your IE settings form internet Options > Advanced > Reset. Also check your proxy settings in connections tab. Also, try to browse via IP address....

              EG: google.com = 216.58.216.238

You can also try a portable browser like Iron that shouldn't follow system settings or group policies for connectivity: http://www.srware.net/en/software_srware_iron.php

In the future can try "netsh winsock reset" and "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt". Will clear up a lot of issues after malware problems.
